  1. If unsure whether a particular post is that of a spam bot, you could always try Googling the text and seeing if you turn up posts on other forums with identical text, etc. That can be a giveaway.

In addition, sometimes they do not place links in their posts immediately, they post a 'normal' looking post then append links to it some time later. Something to keep in mind.

    Don't Reply, Report.

Exactly, which is why poor grammar and at times nonsense should be something to go by.

  2. Also, i may add, please don't -rep them. it's a waste of your points on something that'll be thrown out anyway.

    Yeah, good advice.

Also spambots usually have no rep. If they have no rep and haven't posted in the intro thread and their post has a link, they're probably bots.

Not necessarily, they could also be new members. Usually the bad grammar, username and amount of malicious ad links is a dead giveaway.

  3. If you see a spambot thread or post, please report it as soon as possible.

Spambots can be recognized the following ways:

    • The post includes link(s) to malicious sites or adsites
    • The spambot's username often consists of a first and last name written in one word and undercase letters
    • Poor grammar, very simple sentences such as "I like this" or "my name is (name), I like to do this" and often sentences that make no contextual sense

Please do not reply in spambot threads, just report them. Moderators will act as soon as possible.

Thank you, and have fun at Accursed Farms.

  4. I think tattoos are beautiful as long as they have a personal symbolic meaning for you and are part of who you are. It's just a way of showing your inside on your outside in that sense.
