I think armed scientists would ruin the classic HL feel to be honest. It's important to stay true to the source material or else you end up with a totally different experience that can actually work against it than make it better.

Gordon doesn't even meet Gina in HL1, so either way, I don't think there's much point to this.

I think at some point, Valve intended scientists to have a more direct role in the combat, similar to the Barneys, but ended up discarding that idea so that they would have a different role. So even if BM decided to make scientists more combat-ready, in the end that would go against Valve's original vision.

About 90% of those sales were solely because they were bundled... Another 8% went unused after the novelty died. (3-6 weeks) As far as I'm concerned, the Zelda franchise died when it went full 3d. (same with Mario games) Yeah, WiiSports Resort was bundled with the Black Wii (which I got for my birthday one year). I have to agree on Mario. I'll always prefer the 2D ones. I guess I'm one of the few who just can't get into Mario 64 and Sunshine at all. I liked New SMB though.

By me not being so Goddayum late. Really though, as inexcusable and ridiculous as it is, I'd say it was still pretty much the longest time I've ever spent on Freeman's Mind. Most of that due to work, and some rest being from a crappy computer that likes to crash and force me to redo stuff. HAH! Good one, PC! (I'm in the processing of killing it and getting a new one). Got Aladdin and Gaiares for Sega Genesis. Great games, though Gaiares was a bit expensive, but worth it.

Yeah, a built-in limiter or compressor is a good thing to avoid distortion.
