I'm a PC gamer. I own a few Nintendo consoles but I no longer consider myself a typical Nintendo fan at all. I mean, my favourite Wii game is Conduit, not Zelda or Mario (to be honest I never liked Zelda either).

That being said, I wanna see a new Metroid game, but I want a 2D one.

Definitely sounds like your graphics card might be busted, or the drivers aren't working correctly.

Try updating your graphics card drivers, and if that doesn't work, consider getting a new graphics card.

A fried motherboard sounds a bit unlikely as that would probably impact more, most likely not letting you even turn on the computer, but it's hard to tell.

That was a very DAMN good episode Ross. The secene with the dam was so DAMN good especially when freeman fired his god DAMN gun at all those guys and such. That DAMN sound editing for god DAMN forever but it was DAMN worth it for the wait. That DAMN water was everywhere i don't like how no one has DAMN stuff for the one Freeman. This DAMN world is against him. PS: God DAMN i love you Ross.

Yeah, like Ross said, they are pretty even. I just prefer AMD because it's what I've been using so far and can't say there's anything wrong with it.
