People have interests and things they like. MLP just happens to be really popular. Is it wrong that people are allowed to share that interest and talk about it? I don't think so, as long as they keep it in respective threads. And try not to use images for responses IN GENERAL. Personally I don't care if it's pony images or not, if you can say something with text, use text, it keeps the forum a lot more tidy.

I take offense to that I'm very sorry you did. I truly apologize for my remark, it was uncalled for and a bit harsh. It's not like me to judge others' beliefs, so in hindsight I really regret it.

I think I'm going to leave that line alone despite my troll side desperately wanting to make a snide remark. Though thank you for making me realize I don't have enough non-pony reaction images. It's okay, I LOVE Dean.

It goes down now and then. Not sure why, but I'm sure it eventually should work again.

My main problem is that I fear they are just making empty promises, and promises they won't be able to deliver on. Without a good project leader you're going to end up with a lot of internal problems during development.

Well... so far all I've seen are some screenshots of unfinished levels that look like prettier carbon copies of the original HL1 and tons of promises. The whole thing seems dead to me.

I've lost interest in the mod by now, to be honest. HL1 is fine as it is even on the GoldSrc engine. I don't see why there is need to remake it. Basically I see it as a total waste of time and resources on something that's not even their own property and idea, instead of making something new and original, like Rewolf attempted with the Gunman Chronicles mod. I don't need mindblowing graphics to play HL1. Maybe the graphics whores out there who can't look at a game unless it's Battlefield 3 or Crysis want it, but for me, it just seems completely worthless.

One guy starts pointing it out, others join in just to have something to bitch about so they can feel important. People are sheep, have always been, will always be. If someone starts making a big deal out of it, others are quick to join in and whine as loud as he, or louder, especially when it's something people take as seriously as Mass Effect. It's just a game, for ****'s sake...

Get him a girlfriend. I'd offer myself but I'm taken, sadly.
