I've lost interest in the mod by now, to be honest. HL1 is fine as it is even on the GoldSrc engine. I don't see why there is need to remake it.

Basically I see it as a total waste of time and resources on something that's not even their own property and idea, instead of making something new and original, like Rewolf attempted with the Gunman Chronicles mod.

I don't need mindblowing graphics to play HL1. Maybe the graphics whores out there who can't look at a game unless it's Battlefield 3 or Crysis want it, but for me, it just seems completely worthless.

When so many customers are upset about your product, you did something wrong. That is my point.

One guy starts pointing it out, others join in just to have something to bitch about so they can feel important. People are sheep, have always been, will always be.

If someone starts making a big deal out of it, others are quick to join in and whine as loud as he, or louder, especially when it's something people take as seriously as Mass Effect.

It's just a game, for ****'s sake...

Pretty fun. Rediscovered an old game I had called Rune. I remembered I've never actually completed it.

You can change a game entirely by messing around with the config files, really. I did that with Duke Nukem 3D for a while.

With Quake 1 for instance, any console commands you add to the autoexec.cfg file will be executed at start, that was how I got a permanent mouselook to work in the game.

Played Amnesia. Now I'm pretty sure these games are not to my taste.
