  1. Duke Nukem Forever was ported to consoles, not the other way around. It was always intended to be a PC title. And in all honesty, I prefer those games on PC because I can't play console shooters for shit. Just because games I like start out on consoles doesn't mean I wanna buy consoles to play them. Being a PC gamer is not equivalent to only playing PC exclusive titles. It just means I prefer playing games on PC, regardless of whether they are console ports or not. I actually couldn't care less if they are as long as the game is good. The main reason I don't buy consoles or play games on consoles are controls. The only games I use a gamepad for are either platformers, which I hardly play at all anymore, and racers. For the most part, I prefer FPS games which require precision. I don't feel I can get any precision whatsoever with a gamepad, and I've always and always will prefer using a mouse and keyboard for FPS games. Another reason is that I want my PC to be a centralized entertainment unit for movies, music and games. With Steam I can have a library of easily accessable games for every taste centralized on my computer and I can easily hook a gamepad to it if I want that. To buy a console seems excessive to me unless it's an older one like a Sega Mega Drive, which I admittedly have bought just to play Sega games the old fashioned way. But there are no FPS games on that console unless you count the half-assed and hilariously expensive port of Duke Nukem 3D. Because critical, financial and PR failures are likely to get sequels announced within the next year. What do you expect, I'm a fangirl. Allow me to have some hope for my favourite anti-hero. Hell, I even think Critical Mass is a decent title.
  2. I'm a PC gamer. If a game is console exclusive, I won't be interested in it no matter what.
  3. I'm not that excited about Mass Effect 3 since it's a series I haven't gotten into at all, so... yeah. Not really anything in particular. I'm looking forward to a good PC title basically. Meanwhile I'll be having fun with last year's games.
  4. I don't have any titles that I'm excited about to be honest. Probably some DLC for Modern Warfare 3. If anything I am hoping for news on Half-Life 3 and a possible sequel to Duke Nukem Forever. We'll see what gets announced.
  5. Same thing here. I think I'd feel at home in Wisconsin.
  6. Steady Aim Pro + Akimbo is the way to go. *thumbs up*
  7. 10/10 There IS a gun but it's out of focus. Here's the full version from my Steam profile:
  8. Guess I didn't know what I was talking about really. I was quick to jump on the hate-wagon like a lot of people seem to be doing nowadays. Now that I've actually given it a chance, I can see why people like it. It's a fast and intense shooter that is really fun to play online. And it suits my playstyle perfectly.
  9. I guess I always belong to a gaming minority. XD
  10. Aaaanyway... Drink alcohol in the middle of the week
  11. The irony is that MW3 is a better selling game than BF3 and BF3 is the leader in the vote.
  12. All the more reason to party like it's 2012.
  13. Happy new year, Ross! I want to say I really appreciate how close you are with your fans and how open you are about your problems. My personal thoughts are that maybe you should've stuck to simply using one version of the Source engine instead of updating it, considering each update will undoubtedly change a lot of things and remove some features. I can't really speak about engines since my knowledge is limited about them, all I know though is that the Unreal 3 engine is quite popular and that most of the games I play probably use it, and it would be interesting to see what your new work is going to look like in it. Good luck on your future endeavours.
  14. Just played some MW3. Gonna have some dinner, I think.
