Well, no offense to Triptych, but I don't want to see anything Duke Nukem from them ever again. I like DNF, but a lot of it is on the hope that the next sequel will be developed by Gearbox, and be infinitely better. New engine, new ideas, everything. And while they're at it, remake DNF in this new engine to really give the game what it deserves.

I honestly don't think that's necessary. I think DNF works fine as it is.

I think OP means memorable as in catchy, a tune that gets stuck in your head, as opposed to atmospheric which simply builds tension or the underlying emotions in a level.

Triptych's obligation was basically to finish Duke Nukem Forever, and all Gearbox did was supply them with the resources to do so. However with Gearbox owning the name now, they can easily develop a new title themselves.

Yeah, I can imagine that would make it hard to vote.

Yeah, Gearbox is just an overglorified distributor as all they do is handle the console ports. And I think that those who love DNF will totally get and love the DLC, but it won't in any way convert those who aren't into DNF.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for b-movies and all that over-the-top stuff, and I've practically grown up with Duke Nukem so... it's a game that pretty much makes me feel old in a good way. And I think it's one of the few games I've seen that got the female designs perfect, though they are of course unrealistically slutty around Duke, which always makes me burst out laughing. XD It might be chauvinistic but it's not meant to be taken seriously at all. Personally it's the game I've enjoyed the most, far more than Portal 2 or Deus Ex, and I'm not even calling it a guilty pleasure because I'm not feeling guilty when playing it, which I have the feeling alot of people do.

But yeah, I have to go with the majority when picking the AF best game, not MY best game.

DNF has become more of a cult hit, but that's sort of what I expected.

I'm enjoying a "great" christmas morning, being sick as hell with my mouth hurting, my head pounding, and unable to sleep.

Played Duke Nukem Forever TDWCM DLC.

It was a critical failure, and even if me and a dedicated group of fans still love it, it's just not good enough to end up on the list.
