It isn't dominating because the mods make sure it doesn't get dominating.
I understand people want signatures back, and maybe Ross can be convinced to, with some restrictions. And I agree that the signatures could be turned off by default.
-
The art style of FiM reminds me a lot of Powerpuff Girls. I like the art style, just not the show itself.
-
I'm a bit edgy today, so excuse my reaction. I have to admit I am kind of fed up with all the drama lately regarding the signatures getting removed. I wish people could just accept it.
-
Does it matter whether they are bronies or not? Why is that such a big issue? For me people are people.
-
The issue here is not posts themselves, it's signatures. Please try and stay on topic.
I have to say I agree with Ross. Even if people like the show, they have to respect that this forum is not about that show, so when a majority of users have pony signatures and avatars, then I begin to question what they are doing here in the first place if they only come here to promote a show that has nothing to do with Ross Scott's work.
I have the general notion most of these "bronies" on the forum only are here to discuss MLP and the MLP fandom even in threads that have nothing to do with these subjects.
I can respect you keeping it to a general thread but the whole reason signature images got banned was because the large images (and not ONLY pony images, mind you) kept interrupting the thread flow.
It's okay if you like the show, but I would've preferred if people had more personalized signatures that didn't just have overblown images with ponies in them. It feels kind of like the "bronies" try so hard to distance themselves from the "non-bronies" that they end up losing all their personality in the process. I can hardly remember who anyone of them are anymore aside from Alphabetagamma after they changed their names to stuff like Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash or Pinkie Pie.
Not trying to sound like a bitch or anything here, I respect that people have common interests. But it's this type of extreme fandomism that can really f*** up a forum that has nothing to do with it in the first place. The worst thing is that I bet most of you already know that a lot of people feel enraged when you force your interests on them, and you do it solely for the sake of trolling. And as you know, that's unacceptable.

Yeah, I agree. Looks the best so far, though I didn't mind the boxes.

Rage.
You know, after Dead Island I didn't think games could disappoint me anymore this year.
I was wrong.
Me on the other hand love it. But then again, I love Duke Nukem Forever, so I guess gory overhyped action titles with no plot appeal to me.
-
I think Duke Nukem 1 on PC was what really got me hooked on gaming though, even before Super Mario World.
-
Nagisa added the box to help make the sig stand out from the post.
-
Impossible to say for me. I love all of them.
-
Yeah, it looks miles better.

Heating some dinner.
-
I think it looks kinda oldschool this way...

-
Nope. Now you need to insert a reason.

Urge Intense Triple Rush.

Yeah. Believe it or not but I was once a child too.

Damnit Alyxx... You just outposted Ross...

Fortunately, I'm in third place...

Not intentionally.

I've just been here from the beginning pretty much.
And I'm glad you're being active.
I know this is an old post I'm quoting, but I've been here for a long time, too. I remember when there wasn't a forum and when the site was hacked, I'm just not that active. As for your gender Alyxx, you convinced me you were a girl, and I'm cool with the fact that your not. I'll still see you as a girl.
Yeah, I remember the site getting hacked too.
-
I played Super Mario World almost every day as a kid.
-
Let's try not to get too carried away. Back on topic, please.
-
Yeah, the issue here is that the game has been hyped almost to a fever pitch. That's why it hit so hard when it failed.
-
Did you include me also?
Well I obviously do now. ^^
-
I remember the boys being heavily into it.
-
I'd say they were similar.

Much better than the pony image in my opinion. Feels a lot more like "you" since it's more personal.
