I just bought big box copies of Quake and Quake Scourge of Armagon on eBay for 15£ each. Been playing mostly Quake today.

If you haven't played Quake 1 than I'm not sure what you're trying to do.

 

you should get it even if your computer is THAT crappy.

By logic it should work considering Half-Life 1 uses the Quake 1 engine, albeit a heavily modified one.

Portal doesn't have much of a violent tone to it to begin with. I don't think violence would fit that well in a puzzle game.
