Did no one else get that wheatley didn't actually go power mad? He was simply affected by the programming of the glados addons that he was plugged into. Notice how glados, when taken out of the shell, becomes sympathetic and human, while wheatley, plugged into it, becomes singleminded and selfish. I must have not been the only person to notice this.

Yep, and when GLaDOS is plugged back in in the end, she regains some of her cold personality back.

Yeah, probably, judging by the fact they always release a blooper reel later on.

The only example I can give is probably Halo 1. At my first playthrough the game just gave me a bad taste. The regen health thing, the weapon system, all of that pissed me off.

Then later I picked it up, gave it a real chance and played it for about an evening entirely. It's not really a favourite of mine, but it's better than I initially thought.
