  1. This reminds me that I would really enjoy a DoomGuy's Mind. The comic already provides the perfect personality, just do the whole trilogy like that!

I agree, that would be pretty interesting. I'll keep uploading more parts as I play.

  2. I prefer more "arcade" style racing games, like Burnout or Need for Speed. I'm never been very good at "simulation" ones like Forza or Gran Tourismo. All I do when I try to modify cars in those games is make it worse, lol. I really liked the version of Wipeout on the PSP.

EDIT: I also had a great time with a gameboy version of Pole Position years ago, I miss having a handheld :(

The Need For Speed series has been tilting towards more simulation style lately with the Shift games. I personally think the latest Hot Pursuit game was the best so far.

  3. I've made a video with me playing Doom 3 in 1080p HD resolution and in Ultra quality. Originally Doom 3 only supported 4:3 resolutions but by manually altering the config file I was able to crank it up to a 1080p widescreen resolution. I also did other subtle alterations such as adding the player shadow for added realism and I replaced the original sounds with the Trent Reznor sound pack which sounds better in my opinion.

Here it is, watch it in 1080p to get the most out of it.

I plan on uploading more parts as I play thru the game. I'll let you know when the next part is up.

  4. That thing is the Nihilant, the mastermind behind the alien invasion. That's all I know. And the business suit guy is commonly known as the g-man (short for Government Man). His role is greatly expanded on in the HL2 game and its episodes. Neither his real name or true intentions have been revealed, making him the most mysterious character in the franchise. He can be seen in all the games, mostly out of the player's reach, and somehow being able to teleport.

  5. Wait, whaaaaaat???? Ep stands for Electronic production to me. But an "EP" is when there is a release of less tracks to be considered an album but more than a single. They usually come in two track format. It was popular during the Vinyl times and it's still popular in my genre of music.

Yeah, that's why 45 RPM 7'' and 12'' singles are usually referred to as EP's.

  6. In the old days, an EP is usually a vinyl played at 45 RPM and an LP is a vinyl played at 33 RPM, and usually the distinction is that LP's are albums for the most part and EP's usually contain nothing more than 5-6 songs at the most and usually remixes and alternate versions.

  7. Dude did you read the first post? I believe they said that the main reason it is annoying is that people keep making more threads that need to be converged. I don't imagine that takes for than a few clicks to do but on the 10 millionth time doing it, it gets pretty damn annoying, particularly when there is nothing really of value inside.

Don't get me wrong, I have a special place in hell reserved right next to my apartment overlooking the lava pit for machinima. But 10 pages of complaint is a bit much.

Thanks for understanding. I appreciate it.

Let me recap, the main point of frustration is that people are acting like whiny brats and it gets old real fast. Last year we had to wait like 6 months between each FM episode, and then I could really relate to people's frustration. I just want people to be thankful they are coming out so frequently now. At the most I've waited 14 days, which is nothing to me compared to what it used to be.

Bottom line, it used to be a lot worse and it can get worse again.
