  1. The Zelda CD-I games are pretty terrible. Probably the worst animation I've seen, horrible voice acting, and controls that could make me want to throw the control into a blender. The only redeemable thing is probably the music, which is okay.

Yes, but will it blend ?

    That is the question.

  2. I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE YOU!

    I love you.

  3. I loved this game, it was sort of a skynet style story line only with the WOPR computer trying to take over the world. you could play as either side and operated several vehicles and could switch between them in real time and command you AI comrades. during game play, the defcon meter would slowly count down from defcon 5 to 1. You could give your self more time by killing enemies and accomplishing objectives as doing so pushed the meter back up. If you reached defcon 1 bombers would try and destroy your units and your base (& they usually succeeded).

It was apparently released for both PC and PlayStation though I heard they where slightly different.

I played a demo of the PC version. Was a pretty cool C&C ripoff.

  5. Hamburgler, what do you have against zelda: OoT?

Well, I really don't want to start an controversy since I saw I lost almost 7 rep points over last night. But it's more of a personal thing really. I played Majora's Mask first and loved it, the story, gameplay, everything. And Ocarina of Time didn't impress me like Majora did, it's more of a bias thing really.

    oh, and the Water Temple.

Each to their own. I'm not a terribly big fan of Zelda either but I wouldn't exactly say I hate any of the games, except the ones on CD-I.

  6. I kinda prefer the HD weapons. The shotgun looks better and the Beretta looks better than the original HL pistol too. Also, I kinda prefer the assault rifle over the submachinegun. So yeah, kinda wish they'd release it on Steam, maybe as a DLC.

You can download it on Steam. I use it.

Click this link steam://installaddon/halflifehd whith Steam running.

Thank you. It's installed now. ;)

  7. The HD pack for the original can be downloaded from steam, If you want it for source there is a fan made recreation of it somewhere that was quite good. Personally I go back and forth on it, the character models are better, but I prefer some of the original weapons to the HD-versions.

How? I haven't seen it anywhere in the store.
