As you may have noticed already, the Search button is back. As of late I have seen a lot of new topics being made that already exist, and I can understand why, no one wants to scan through 5-6 pages to find an old topic instead, and you may have noticed I've had to merge some of these.

But now the search function makes it a lot easier to find a topic to post in. So I want to endorse everyone to use it. It would greatly make things easier for the mods and admins and prevent the forums from getting even more cluttered with duplicate topics.

A couple of years ago I found out about Gmod, It sounded cool, I heard it needed something called "sorze gamez" so I checked google for source games and I found out about valve from there 2 games immediatley caught my attention half life 2 and portal. in my craze of how awesome these games looked I spammed google with "HALF LIFE!!!!!!!!" in that crazy-ness I found FM. The End.

Doesn't sound that crazy when you think about it. All of those things are related.

I'm a pretty big nerd/ geek so this would have happened eventually. I'd like to know what kind of hardware your machine is packing.

The names Toxic (real name is Matt). I lurked this forum for a while but joined and started posting recently. I live in Texas, US. I'm 21 but sometimes I act like I'm 14 . I consider myself a jack of all trades when it comes to technology, but there are still MANY things I don't understand. I enjoy fixing/ building/ helping people with computers. Wow, this is the best feedback I've ever gotten on any of my videos, and even myself. Shout out to cool and The hamburglar aka Fxn for all the support! This really means quite a lot and you guys just made my day. Sorry for the lack of videos lately, just the result of me not liking how things keep turning out, I can't post something random and silly, I respect you guys. Again, thanks a lot ! Back on topic, the worst machinima I've ever seen is probably.... Rubber Fruit's videos after he got into stop motion and got his... rather... disturbing character "Painis Cupcake" or whatever. From then on, they're all so bad and horrible, that it's just unbelievable how many people get "inspired" by them and make their own version. At least that's what I think. His old videos were awesome tho can't argue with that.

And isn't Freeman kind of a moron in Ross' take on the game and character? PhD in physics seems unlikely.

Actually Ross' Freeman still has a PhD in physics, but in his case it is dubious how he got it.

I doubt its anything other than Freemans mind seeing as he has already done the filming / dialogue pretty quickly. If i had to guess id say being knocked unconscious in episode 34 will give Ross the freedom to throw out some whacky ideas in "its a dream" form, maybe an episode filmed in a different game engine like half life 2 or hell maybe something crazy like Halo.

Sounds likely to me.

I think the HL Anthology pack is on Steam too. If you can find it you can save some cash.

Nope, I just never think much about it because it's just a game and therefore not reality and thinking realistically about it is a waste of time. I just play and have fun.

There's just something I really want to know:

When Freeman puts away his current weapon it actually moves from view, rather than disappearing using an r_drawviewmodel bind. How do you do this?

Looks like a reversed animation of when you switch to a weapon.

I never thought much about it to be honest.

I think furries are cute most of the time.
