Anyone here ever played X-Zone for the SNES? It's a game I love to death but nobody else seems to even remember.

I think it uses the Unreal 3 engine. Certainly looks like it.

I can't deny the games I grew up on, and I don't think anyone else can.

I think in general the more older gamers enjoy both new and old games. It's just the younger generation who have a problem with the older ones mostly.

Best game ever.

 

im talking about the old PC version not the ps2 or the watered down new one....

I rather enjoy the new Wolfenstein actually.

Eradicator is probably close. It's not a terribly special game but I grew up with it and I like the style.

TRON Legacy

Have you ever wondered what it would be like inside your own computer? Or when Disney would get the fingers out of their fat asses and make a sequel to one of their most groundbreaking 80's films? Well, here is the answer to both of those questions. TRON Legacy is the long (understatement of the century) awaited sequel to the 1982 cult classic TRON, both starring Jeff Bridges (Starman, True Grit) as the elusive hacker Kevin Flynn and Bruce Boxleitner (Babylon 5) as the titular hero Tron in the first movie, and with a minor role in this sequel. Some new major roles are filled by Garret Hedlund who plays Kevin's son Sam and Olivia Wilde, who you might recognize from the hit TV show House MD as a very sexy program in the digital world.

So how does the movie hold up? Quite well actually, though obviously this is a very visual movie. The best part of the movie is the music though, made by none other than the French electro-house duo Daft Punk, their electronic wizardry, influenced greatly by Wendy Carlos' original TRON score, perfectly matching the digital world's visual style, derived but evolved greatly from the first TRON film. The plot is basic but interesting enough to keep you seated for the movie's playtime. Obviously you're watching this movie for the epic battles and the awesome lightcycles running around. This is by every meaning of the word a special FX film and rarely really goes beyond that.

If you want to watch a movie that outright hypnotizes you with its visual style and excellent music, look no further, as TRON Legacy offers the full package, though I feel the characters could have been fleshed out more as they seem to feel a bit hollow, though it's not like the first movie was rich in story either. If you're a TRON fan, you'll definitely enjoy this movie, which I assume will be the last TRON film (sadly).

I give it 8 identity discs out of 10.

Honorable mention: The TRON 2.0 game.

The g-man name comes from the fact that's what he looks like. A regular government agent. It was the name of his model in HL1. So I dunno... I don't think he's a God. But definitely not human.

If you are single and want to have sex just out of lust and the girl you have sexual attraction to for the same reason, let it happen I say. Sex is an activity, a game, not a commitment or signing a contract. Until she tells you she's pregnant few weeks later, but that's nothing good use of contraceptives can't avoid.

In other words, sex is just what you want it to be. In itself, it's just an act, but it can have symbolic meaning and be an expression for more than just chemical attraction.

Though most of us here may not be Brits, I do think we do ourselves a disservice by leaving off Dr. Who.

I don't think you have to be a brit to enjoy Dr Who.

Depends on how you look at it. I'm not judging anyone for lifestyle choices really.

I'm straight. In terms of the Catholic church (yes, I'm Catholic), it is a sin to have sex with the same sex, but personally, I have no problem with it.

As far as I'm concerned, we're all sinners in some way. I consider sex out of love much less of a sin than sex out of lust. And clearly, having sex with the one you love, no matter the gender, is much better than having sex with children, like some catholic priests do.
