Marmite=Vegemite I've never had either.

For those interested, this is the Saber Rider theme song and intro:

I find a cyberpunk world more and more likely to occur where we merge with machines, rather than machines taking over.
-
Yeah, there is a gaping hole in his fucking logic. And that would be? What I'm saying is that settling down does NOT change the fact that they're still attracted to both sexes. that's the POINT of bisexuality and that's never going to change just because you found someone to be with. If anyone has flawed logic, it's definitely not me. I'm starting to think you don't fully understand what bisexuality really is. I think he meant the guy who said that, not you, meaning he agrees with us, because he started his sentence with "yeah" and quoted me.
-
Because I don't want to share... Well I'm bisexual and I'm not being shared.

If cyberpunk can be counted as a form of science fiction, William Gibson certainly deserves a spot. And Phillip K. Dick is also a name.
-
Because books are typically a different form of Science Fiction that I wouldn't classify as "Sci-Fi"... And as I already mentioned, I will be making a specific thread for literary Science Fiction later. It would probably have been a good idea to make that more clear in your topic description. A lot of people can misinterpret it.

I like pork rinds, but I only eat them occasionally.

I would call it a massive waste of time and resources. Well, that depends entirely on your point of view.

The engine isn't new, just newer iterations of the same Engine. They've also stated that Episode 3 will probably be their last game on Source. Source Engine was great in its time, and even today its highly malleable and adaptable as well as well-written, but some of their features compared to nowandays, are showing their wrinkles. I think the greatest strength of the Source engine is its backwards compability with older low-end systems.

I don't think mass manipulation is a matter of compatibility, organisms are made of molecules just like crates, barrels, etc. The only reason you can not grab smaller enemies with the "orange" gravity gun is due to gameplay reasons; that ability would vastly overpower it. The supercharged gravity gun is a nifty idea that gives people a chance to do exactly what they dreamt about ever since first getting the weapon. Good point, and I agree, definitely.

What is your favorite GLaDOS quote?

That's my favourite too. -
Congratulations! *gives koach2 a hug*

When I met my first boyfriend for the first time. I just dropped my luggage and rushed over to hug and kiss him. It was the happiest moment of my life at that point. Though he turned out to be a paranoid bastard who dumped me in the end, so I doubt I'd repeat it.

I concur. Maybe we should share salad recipes.
-
That can be arranged...

It was an okay movie. I'd rather play the game though. My favourite of the HL1 expansions.

I remember watching the Cowboy Bebop movie while babysitting someone. One of my coolest experiences ever. Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the few animes that really moved me while watching the first episode. I can't believe I didn't mention it! Also, I bought several volumes of the Samurai Deeper Kyo manga and also checked out the anime. The anime was okay and stayed somewhat close to the manga, but I prefer the manga by far.

BBQ flavoured pretzels? Sounds tasty.

It is unique, I'll give it that. Where Star Trek was about exploring space, Babylon 5 is more political as it takes place on a space station rather than an actual space ship.
-
Indeed. I would definitely call it a sport of sorts.
-
You'd be surprised.
-
Didn't know anyone still played that. I remember playing Marathon when I was a kid. It was a great FPS.

It's going to take forever to find all of them...

Seems decent, though slightly outdated by now. Not bad for a first PC.
