People were ragin' on expanding the storyline with Broken Steel but I loved not having to reload my game everytime I did the ending sequence of it. The Pitt was my other fave tho

Yeah, The Pitt is also a fav of mine. It has a great storyline.

Keep your eyes open for Serious Sam 3 this summer, and of course DNF. The fun, arcady shooters seem to be making a strong return this year.

Very true... (they also have many more recent games too) But I did more gaming on the Channel F than I did the Atari, so we should also include Fairchild in that developers list too...

Yeah, Fairchild was also part of the initial console birth.

The only good MMO I've ever played is Minecraft, and you'll be lucky to find a public server for Minecraft with more than 40 people on at once. It's very fun either way though. Recently I've been righting a giant message on the ground in stone and torches, so it'll be visible on the server's live map.

A friend of mine made a church in Minecraft and had the walls decorated with Megaman and Protoman. It looked pretty awesome.

Besides, people complain giving a woman a spank, when Duke *Turns on Fox News logic* glorifies the use of steroids by allowing the player to make enemies explode with their 'roid-enhanced punches *Turns off Fox news logic*. It just doesn't make any sense.

That's what happens when people get jealous of a fictional character.

The new Guild Wars that is coming out is looking to become one of the first good MMO's since it has no subscription fee. You buy the game and that's it. And that's how I want it to be like. I don't wanna pay extra to play a game I have already paid for.

Well, Im not a big fan of FPS games, but my favorites are Half Life series, Deus Ex [which is actually shooter/RPG], Stalker, Bioshock, Portal, Fallout: New Vegas.

Im not sure to call Vampire: Bloodlines the Masqarade FPS but whatever...

It's more of a first person RPG I think.

Speaking of FPS/RPG hybrids, has anyone played the Heretic/HeXen series by Raven Software? Superb games imo.

I also enjoyed the Broken Steel addon for Fallout 3 as I sometimes complete the main quest first before exploring the rest of the game, and I enjoyed the 50's scifi atmosphere of the Mothership Zeta quest.
