I was referring to Doctor Proton from Duke Nukem 1 who created an army of robots to take over the world and enslave human kind. The game is basically about Duke Nukem kicking the ass of both Proton and his army of robots. A bit obscure reference I suppose since the game is not as famous as his future games.

Looks intriguing. I'm interested!

My best friend thinks that Bioshock 2 is a great game.

Wasn't that Captain Proton? Nope. Doctor Proton.

Downloadable content has sort of become the new fad of game expansion. Do you feel this adds anything to the overall game experience or do you feel it is just a marketing ploy for publishers to earn more money on releasing unfinished games?

I personally have seen the gameplay trailer and read a lot about the game. I am impressed by the features they are implementing. It's just the setting that doesn't fit my taste. I'm sure you understand.

Incentive actually did this after releasing the game. One of their prizes was 500£ for the one who could get the highest score on their first game. It was part of their business plan and also the reason for their name. They wanted to give gamers an "added Incentive" for buying their products. Their games were actually pretty good for the time, boasting very advanced 3d graphics that ran surprisingly smoothly on low end systems such as the Dragon 32 and the ZX Spectrum.

I am impressed by all the features they have planned for it though, and the visuals are gorgeous. But I'm just not a fan of the cookie cutter fantasy style. As BTG put it, it has been done to death.

Speaking of developers, I just read about an 80's developer called Incentive Software based in UK which actually handed out prizes to people who could get the best high scores on their games. That's pretty cool in my book.

Some female specimens in Hollywood these days verge on being silicone based... Same for most independent 18+ films... Some even pride themselves on it. Think there's a relation between the two? Possibly.

I use a Creative gaming headset myself. Cheap shit.

For me it's a FPS with RPG elements. A sort of hybrid like Fallout 3.

And will probably further raise my aversion to the Elder Scrolls franchise as a whole no matter the hype.

Why would them getting the rights to the previous 2 games automatically mean they were responsible for them anyway? They still didn't develop them. Deus Ex 3 is actually being developed by Eidos and published by Square Enix. So no, Ubisoft has nothing to do with Deus Ex.

If it's a generic with 800+ wattage it should still be fine for a card that requires 400 watts. I agree with BTG. The brand isn't as important as the specs of the PSU, or the amount of wattage it gives.

I don't mind the avatar file size limit. Anyone with Photoshop these days can make a decent 100x100 gif avatar that's less than 10 KB in size. Just look at mine. Regarding the error message, I have no idea what causes it. I'd make a guess and say it's a server issue though.

I second this.

That pic is epic win.

Fox News need to get their head out of the gutter and stop bullshitting people. Either way, women are already being sexualized through television and media so... I find it hypocritical for someone on TV to criticize a game for doing so when they are probably already showing commercials with perfect women showing off underwear.

Yeah, it's a true classic! +rep for that one!

If I remember correctly, both Deus Ex 1 and 2 were developed by Ion Storm and published by Eidos. Ubisoft had nada to do with the franchise.

Playing Fallout 3 with the Fellout mod installed. It makes the game tons more appealing to look at.
