Shiny Toy Guns - Rainy Monday

yeah I'm not clicking that link. my day is already full of neurotoxins as is. don't need any extras.KoD
I'm ashamed of myself for it, but I read that in Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice screaming KALL OF DOOTY!
That made my day.

I will post a magnificent blog update as soon as I know it's up. It will show up under Civil Protection on the forums as well. Sadly that wondrous moment has yet to come.
I'm hoping it will come up tonight.

This is me

And yes, I'm ready to fight for The Tunnel.
Obviously. TAKE NO PRISONERS! XD

Not sure if this has been suggested yet, but possibly allowing file sizes of 30kb up from 16kb for avatars? I had to get creative in photoshop just to knock the files size down the like .03 under the limit for my current.
I uploaded mine in gif format. The file was not even 7 kb with Local Selective colours.

G-Man, whether good or evil, scares the crap out of me.

IThat being said, console wars are dumb, I'd own a PS3, Xbox360, PSP, DS, etc if I could afford them all.
Comparing consoles to each other is kinda meaningless in my opinion because in the end it's not about what console you own, but what games you like to play.
-
The thing with me is that I actually acknowledge I am a male irl, but with a female persona online, so technically, I'm not lying about anything.
-
I'm legally insane and have ADHD, but I hide them well
No, you don't. I kinda already guessed this.

Myself, I am Christian and very religious, but as far as I'm concerned, if you are homosexual or bisexual and have a same sex partner, as long as you truly love that person, it doesn't matter what you do as long as you do good things in general, because a good deed can outweigh the sins you do. And in the end, for me understanding someone else's sexuality is more important than judging them for it. For me, being Christian is not about judging people, but humbly accepting them as they are and understand them instead, and therefore actively working for a more peaceful environment around you. We all sin, it's what humans do. But that does not automatically make us bad people.

Lol, well I can certainly name the ones that I like and the ones that I hate.
I like: Unforeseen Consequences, Office Complex, We've Got Hostiles, Questionable Ethics, Surface Tension, Forget About Freeman, Lambda Core, and the Xen levels.
I hate: Black Mesa Inbound. It was nice at first, but eventually it gets dull and a waste of 10 minutes. I always have a saved game ready to skip it when I play through HL these days. Anomalous Materials for pretty much the same reason. I also hate Residue Processing and Apprehension. I want to shoot things, not do jumping puzzles. I would have been ok with these chapters if only there were more than a dozen enemies.
Levels that are ok: Blast Pit, On a Rail, Power Up, and anything else I may not have mentioned.
I think those levels you hate were added for the sake of adding more variety to the gameplay, but I can understand that it breaks the flow of the game.

Of course there are girls on the internet. Here's a picture of me:

Very good picture. But obviously that's Jessica Alba. Unless you are Jessica Alba's twin sister, which would be outrageous.
-
Gotta go with surface tension. Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I love watching the HECU and the Aliens duke it out. Much fun to mop up the survivors! Not to mention you get ready use of the rocket launcher and the Gauss Gun.
I personally find it hard to really find a favourite chapter.

Bad wording on my part. If you get 80 frames per second performance in a game displayed on a monitor with 60 Hz refresh rate, 20 of the frames will never be displayed. It is a good idea to use vertical synchronization (vsync) if you get very unstable framerates and "normalize" it at your monitor's refresh rate. But I recommend forcing vsync through the driver, since many games have very odd ideas on what is good vsync. Dead Space's vsync for example forces 30 FPS and adds a plethora of other issues.
Yeah, I force vsync on all my games. I tend to get bad tearing issues if I don't.

Haha true story there! All the good Symphonic Metal bands (With the exceptions of Kamelot, Epica, and Dark Moor of course) come from Scandinavia. Finland holds the high ground though IMO, after all it's the birthplace of Tarja Turunen.
One of my favourite bands are Crowhead, from Norway as well.
http://www.myspace.com/crowhead
My favourite song is Eternity.

First off, would you be so kind as to explain what Malthus and anti-Malthus is?
-
Hmm, never heard of that one. But Ghost Love Score is an absolute epic IMO. Wish I had an Angel, 10th Man Down, She is my Sin, and the Kinslayer are definitely towards the top.
Nice to meet another Nightwish fan, lol I don't see many of them around.
I'm from Norway. Metal is part of my musical heritage, lol.
-
I love Symphonic Power Metal - through and through. Half of the songs I have are from that genre, and the other half comes from various genres (mostly rock). Nightwish is the case in point here, it's my favorite band.
I love Nightwish, especially their version of "Walking In The Air". That one sent chills down my spine.

The hornet gun gets a few points for having infinte ammo though.
yeah i guess i can use it to kill headcrabs and save ammo for the other enemies, but wait,THERE IS ALMOST NO HEADCRABS ON XEN,JUST THE FREAKIN BABY CRABS,VORTS,GARGANTUAS AND THOSE FREAKIN MINI-NIHILANTS(cant remember their name)
It's real fun in multiplayer though, watching players dodge those bees.

Refresh rate is a feature of the monitor, the computer connected to it has nothing to do with the refresh rate. Most LCDs today are 60 Hz, but there are some 120 Hz ones. It gets even more complex and confusing when you consider that refresh rate works differently for CRTs.
But in your previous post you clearly stated that any actual framerate above the refresh rate of the monitor was irrelevant. Doesn't that technically mean the game can have a better framerate if the actual monitor refresh rate is higher than 60, or rather that you experience it that way?
Either way, the Xbox 360 port of Fo3 can easily just be a case of bad programming if it has some framerate issues. It doesn't have to do with the video capabilites of the system.
-
Still, some of the others I've seen look like they'd be pretty fun to try out. Obviously this is impossible from an Xbox.
Clearly why I invested in a good gaming rig.

Dr Betruger is the kind of villain that just by looking at him the first time you can tell he's a villain. Kinda like every role Malcolm McDowell plays.
Betruger has an awesome voice, too, and one of the better evil scientist laughs I ever heard.
Philip L. Clarke needs more roles.
I agree. His presence in the game added a lot to the Doom 3 atmosphere.
What are you listening to?
