  1. I think what makes Freeman's Mind work so good is that Ross is actually a decent voice actor and has great comedic talent. He also adds a lot to the game instead of just playing it.
  2. That's a better idea actually. I guess we tend to forget this forum is not about Half-Life but about Ross Scott's humor.
  3. Congratulations on that then. I'm glad you got so much out of the game. Gran Turismo is not really my taste because such "simulator" style racers that focus on realism often become boring for me.
  4. Eiffel 65 feat. Kim Lukas - All I Really Want
  5. I'm disagreeing with most people there. I think it's an okay rock opera song, but... best song ever? Come on... I'm pretty sure that's why I think it's so great. It's so incredibly overrated. EVERYONE knows it. Even if they hate it, chances are, they'll still sing it. If you go to a theme park, and you're in a large line, and you and a group of people start to sing it, you bet your hairy ass the entire line of people will join in. It will be on the news. I know this. I lived it. Haha yeah, it's definitely overrated.

  7. I think it's in the Japanese culture to be afraid of disasters. Atom bombs, quakes, and giant lizards.
  8. I think both of us have pretty much the same opinion there. I've stopped watching Barney's Mind. That says it all. While I respect his attempts at making a decent tie-in with FM, it felt like he tried to be like Ross Scott a lot of the time. Shepard's Mind (with the suggestive abbreviation "SM", lol) is indeed the most enjoyable next to FM.
  9. Wow, that's devastating... It was today. I was in school when It happend. My geograph teacher told us abou it. It's sad. I hope it isn't one of a signs of the end of the world yet I wouldn't call it a sign of the end of the world. Japan is sadly one of the countries most often struck by quakes.
  10. Yeah, he's on a drug called Charlie Sheen! He's mutated from weed.
  11. Everyone who downloads it should seed it. I am seeding it 24/7.
  12. Wow, that's devastating...
  13. Never heard of them before to be honest.
  14. He has done cocaine as far as I know.
  15. Another racing franchise that I love is the Super Mario Kart series. My favourite is actually the very first on the Super Nintendo. Way to show off Mode 7 there.
  16. There're Steven Spieldberg's movies, He like to do such. Actually George Lucas was behind them. Spielberg was the executive producer on them.
  17. It's actually when a show tries new things or introduces new plots they become cancelled. People like repetition and the familiar. But in general I think it depends on the structure of the show itself. Soap operas and sitcoms are more easily structured for repetition.
  18. Ian Van Dahl - Satisfy Me
  19. The YouTube ads don't bother me that much anymore.
  20. Those games are alright, but definitely the weaker points of the franchise. I think I've tried that. It's an alright game. The franchise itself, is I think, losing its touch already. Every time a new game spawns every year, nothing really new was introduced. The NFS MMO is a bad idea imo. As for hot pursuit, I've seen it and I gotta say it makes me want to play that game. Hot Pursuit is the first GOOD NFS game I've played in ages. I suggest you try it. But yeah, before Hot Pursuit, I was really scared of the direction of the franchise.
  21. Come on, that show wouldn't reach 8 seasons if it was redundant and repetitive, right? Jemp... some shows on TV reach 12 seasons by repeating themselves.
  22. I think the movies are awesome personally. They're not thought-provoking or intelligent in any way, but damn good fun.
  23. You can't really compare Freeman's Mind to any other sort of Mind series. The others will always be a bit ripoffs to me. But I can still enjoy them a lot. Next to Freeman's Mind, I'd say Shepard's Mind is my favourite.
  24. The show was okay but nothing great.
  25. I really recommend Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, the new one. It's really bringing the franchise back to its arcade roots.
