I am currently using Windows 7, but was previously using Windows Vista. I upgraded because it was cheap to do so as a student. I had no problems with Vista, nor have I had any problems with Windows 7. Both worked like a charm.
Yeah, I tried Vista actually and it worked pretty okay for me. But 7 is better.

Windows 7 and i am proud of it.
Same here.

Yes. I was really happy that Criterion would be taking care of the next NFS game, because all the NFS in the last years have sucked giraffe balls (and honestly, sucking giraffe balls is a hard thing to do, but it's still horrible), finally they were going to make a decent one. I liked the new Hot Pursuit, but not nearly as much as I liked the old Hot Pursuit games at the time. Also, Hot Pursuit doesn't have "Paradise City" by GnR as the theme song.
You're the first person I've seen that uses the term "giraffe balls". XD
I grew up playing Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit, personally.

I get that it gives the post-apocalyptic ambiance, that we see a lot in movies, but I don't like it.
To each his own. It's still a good game in my opinion. But I can understand little details like that can bother some people.

It's funny that during Vista's short lifespan, more people used XP than Vista.
Personally, I loved XP. Vista was a headache. 7 is pretty nice though, I like it.
Same here. 7 is pretty much Vista without the suckage.

Windows XP,no fancy stuff but it gets the job done

Gran Turismo 4 on the PS2, I'm not good at it though, and I don't try to go trough the whole game campaign, I just play it to relax.
But my very favorite is Burnout Paradise, the perfect arcade racing game. Alyxx, if you liked NFS: Hot Pursuit, you should try Burnout Paradise. Awesome soundtrack, awesome gameplay, awesome visuals, awesome damage system. I both love and hate when I have a horrible accident in the game, I hate it because I just lost the fucking race, and love it because the damage system looks so nice in slow-motion.
Yeah, I've played it on my brother's PS3. It's an awesome game. I've also played Burnout Takedown on XBox with a friend and I remember I loved it. But that's more than a coincidence considering Criterion, the developers of Hot Pursuit, are responsible for the Burnout series.

Aside from the hard components of a computer and the BIOS, the Operating System is the most important thing, software-wise. From the old days of DOS and Unix-based systems, to our current days of Windows 7, the Operating System has allowed us to communicate with our computer and allowed us to use it for virtually every application there is.
What OS are you using at the moment?
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate.

I think what makes Freeman's Mind work so good is that Ross is actually a decent voice actor and has great comedic talent. He also adds a lot to the game instead of just playing it.
-
I Just think that the banner shouldn't only be hl2 related; It should be more related to Ross Scott's humor ranging from witty, scientific, and somewhat immature but in a good way.
That's a better idea actually. I guess we tend to forget this forum is not about Half-Life but about Ross Scott's humor.

Gran Turismo 5. I got addicted to this game for about a month, modding and racing cars and just having fun with it, saving up money to buy bigger and better cars. I got really good at the techniques of racing physics in GT5, and I actually won a seasonal event worth 1.5 million credits, for doing a two hour race around the Nurburgring I believe in some sort of honda hybrid.
Congratulations on that then. I'm glad you got so much out of the game.
Gran Turismo is not really my taste because such "simulator" style racers that focus on realism often become boring for me.

Just gunna say. Best song ever, definitely Bohemian Rhapsody.
I'm disagreeing with most people there. I think it's an okay rock opera song, but... best song ever? Come on...
I'm pretty sure that's why I think it's so great. It's so incredibly overrated. EVERYONE knows it. Even if they hate it, chances are, they'll still sing it.
If you go to a theme park, and you're in a large line, and you and a group of people start to sing it, you bet your hairy ass the entire line of people will join in. It will be on the news. I know this. I lived it.
Haha yeah, it's definitely overrated.

Everyone is talking about Japan, so I'll add my condolences.
I felt a tiny tinge of guilt after laughing that Godzilla was a trending topic on Twitter, anyway. I should probably be more sensitive. It'll never happen, but regardless.
I think it's in the Japanese culture to be afraid of disasters. Atom bombs, quakes, and giant lizards.

Freeman's Mind is at least original, and usually much more planned out and professional. Barney's Mind, frankly, just pissed me off when it first started. The first few episodes literally had lines ripped off from FM (he re-recorded the first few episodes, they're a bit better now, still not the greatest imo). I do however, really enjoy Shephard's Mind.
FM is still by far my favourite, though.
I think both of us have pretty much the same opinion there. I've stopped watching Barney's Mind. That says it all. While I respect his attempts at making a decent tie-in with FM, it felt like he tried to be like Ross Scott a lot of the time. Shepard's Mind (with the suggestive abbreviation "SM", lol) is indeed the most enjoyable next to FM.

An 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck Japan and caused massive tsunamis that wiped out the coastal areas, as well as its neighboring countries. Let's pray for the safety of the affected people.
Wow, that's devastating...
It was today. I was in school when It happend. My geograph teacher told us abou it.
It's sad. I hope it isn't one of a signs of the end of the world yet
I wouldn't call it a sign of the end of the world. Japan is sadly one of the countries most often struck by quakes.

Well, in two and a half men's case, they cancelled it because of Charlie Sheen going out of control. I'm not familiar with his story though, is he on drugs or something?
Yeah, he's on a drug called Charlie Sheen!
He's mutated from weed.

Seeding as much as i can, but to make this actually useful we need lots more people seeding it.
Everyone who downloads it should seed it. I am seeding it 24/7.

Never heard of them before to be honest.

He has done cocaine as far as I know.

Another racing franchise that I love is the Super Mario Kart series. My favourite is actually the very first on the Super Nintendo. Way to show off Mode 7 there.

I think the movies are awesome personally. They're not thought-provoking or intelligent in any way, but damn good fun.
There're Steven Spieldberg's movies, He like to do such.
Actually George Lucas was behind them. Spielberg was the executive producer on them.
