I've never really been a huge fan of these types of games, mostly cause they don't offer much actual choice or gameplay and I see them less as games and more as glorified storybooks. That being said, there clearly is a market for it so, all power to them.

 

It might just be a matter of semantics and choice of words, but to me this attitude has always sounded kind of strange. For one, choice and situations playing out differently is part of the soul of games like The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. For another, of course they're glorified story books! But you make that sound like it's a bad thing, which I don't understand. Or rather, I would like to call the ones I've played a novel take on story books and story telling, introducing a new level of investment in the narrative. Take something like The Path. While a skilled author can certainly evoke a similarly haunting atmosphere (The fall of the house of Usher comes to mind), the simple fact that it's my choice to lead the sisters, one after the other, off the path and into the forest lends it an extra quality that I love..

I never meant to say it's a bad thing, just that it's not what I'm looking for in a game and thus not interesting to me. In other words, it's not my cup of tea.

Tactics is kind of the oddball in the series to be honest and the combat in Tactics is pretty unique to that game.

Fallout 2 is pretty much Fallout 1 but bigger and with better follower AI, so if you didn't like the combat in FO1, you won't like it in FO2.

Keep having blood pressure drops after meals, especially breakfast. I just get insanely dizzy and can barely stand up when it's worst... Quite honestly it's ruining my life atm because I can't go outside or do anything while it's going on...

Gonna talk to my doc about it. I suspect it's a side effect of my blood pressure meds (was put back on them but lower dosage doesn't seem to have helped much).

Amazing accidental stunt reminds me of one thing that happened to me...

One day I had my cousin over my house, and I was chilling in the kitchen with him and my sister. He opened the top cupboard and unexpectedly, three cups decided to be bitches and fall out. Somehow, SOMEHOW, I reacted fast enough - me, the short little girl, shorter than everyone else there, with my short arms and two hands, caught the two glass cups and let the plastic one fall. How I managed to identify the difference between plastic and glass, whilst they were falling, and still have time to catch them, I will never know. XD That was the day I realized I was half cat, I think. My cousin and sister just looked at me like O_O "HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?"

I felt like such a badass. B)

Battleborn Open Beta

Fun game so far though it crashed quite a bit for me, though never while in the actual game, just during menus.

The marketing at Blizzard are just dicks from what I've seen. Externally the company is not looking good right now.

What they should've done is offered a partnership with the server and helped them sustain as well as earning money from them. Would've meant people would have to pay to play on the server but still, it would've been better than outright shutting it down.
