I wanted to go back to FC3 in anticipation of FC Primal but i guess I'll just have to wait. Though 3DS Max not working is an issue.

 

OT: Combing my hair now.

FC Primal just looks SO not like my type of game. The animals look cool and all but I just don't care for the setting. I'll agree it's a bit original as we haven't seen many stone age games, but that's the thing, I don't want to play something from the stone age...

OT: Eating breakfast.

I thought it was pretty hilarious. Kylo Ren is such a dork. A total Vadar fanboy. As soon as he took off that mask, I just couldn't take him seriously anymore.

 

Still a great movie though. Really enjoyed it. Interested in what they do with the sequels.

I think that was the point of his character, trying to live up to Vader's name but failing, and that's one of his struggles.

As for Rey i quote came to my mind:

Well, it is proven that the Force can guide your actions. The shot at the end of the trench run in Episode IV was Luke being guided by the Force when he fired the torpedoes. So I think it's safe to assume that at the point Rey took up the lightsaber she was already atuned with the Force and had learned to use it so she let it guide her.

Hey, if the betas work better, use them... There is no logic in "newer is better" when it comes to ANYTHING anymore.

 

The problem with the beta drivers is that both instances of Far Cry 3(blood dragon being the second) can't run on them, and neither can 3DS Max. So I'm stuck in the position of choosing which do I want to be broken and which do I want to work.

I don't play FC3 or Blood Dragon atm, and I need the performance optimizations for Fallout 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

OT: Brushing my teeth and heading to bed.

I'd recommend waiting a tad bit on JC3 because it it's current state it's buggy and has optimization issues. I can still have fun but it is kinda upsetting to drop to 12 frames every time something explodes, which is a lot.

 

But other than that, they knew what they wanted with this game which was a huge playground.

It's not a bug, it's a "feature". Slow mo, you know.

Keep this in mind... Finn kinda sucks with the lightsaber. To me it kinda came off as him just winging it. You can tell he would much rather use a blaster because, that's what he has training in. But he's forced to improvize.

My avatar isn't my personality, it's something I enjoy. That's like saying the clothes I wear is my personality, or who I am. I'm more than just a Brony, I'm more than just a gamer.

I know, I'm just trying to explain why you're portrayed as Rainbow Dash in the picture. It's because that's how we see you because that's how you choose to portray yourself in your avatar. We're not saying that's all you are, nor are we saying we're not interested in you. Just saying that's how people see you because that's how you choose to be seen.

Playing Fallout 4 after rolling back to the beta drivers.

Yeah the movie borrowed a lot from the original trilogy. I didn't really mind that though.

It's still annoying for AMD users to be shit on just because a game developer doesn't want to take into account not every fucking PC gamer uses nVidia.

So I've been to the therapist for about a month now and I still feel a bit dizzy. Not as bad as it has been but still there. I'm continuing treatment in January.

That being said I definitely think I needed the treatment and it might just be that I just need longer treatment. We had to take it a bit slow and careful cause I kept passing out.

Edit: So the BETA drivers from November 14(15.11) have no graphical problems but the official release from 2 days ago(15.12) have horrible graphics bugs. AMD... what the fuck?

Well it's fucking Star Wars, of course it's gonna be hyped to hell and back... We're talking about a movie series that is a religion to a lot of people.

I loved it. Although it wasn't perfect, for instance I wasn't a fan of Snoke being a CGI model. They couldn't get a guy in makeup with a hood to portray him? I didn't get it.

But it felt like a Star Wars movie and I had a blast watching it.

Am I so bland and boring that my avatar is my personality? That's it? I don't have one of my own? I mean, I'm glad I was included in the drawing, don't get me wrong, it's just there's more to me. All my life it seems like no one really noticed me, saw me for who I am, no one recognizing my talents, complimenting me or anything. The only compliments I get are when I do something awesome by accident or it's from just knee-jerk reaction when playing a sport, like putting my hand up to stop the soccer ball. I only put my hand up, so I don't get hit in the face, not to defend it/stop it from getting into the goal.

 

But no, I make a video, I share it, and I get nothing, I draw something, show it around, and nothing, I try to be nice to everyone, not boasting my talents (or at least I try not to) and what do I get? Nothing! Yet people do the same thing and they get praise! Yes I know there's a vent thread, but dammit, it's more fitting here than there. I mean, it's like why bother? Why bother sharing the things I enjoy/make when no one notices? Why does no one recognize my personality, or anything?

 

Is it really too much to ask for some legitimate praise once in a while?

 

To clarify: I'm not trying to boast my work or anything, I'm not looking for praise/worship/attention/whatever, I just would like to have legit praise once in a while for something I did on purpose. I also would like it if people started to recognize my talents, my personality, you know, try and get to know me (more/better).

Your avatar reflects your personality and who you are. That's the purpose of it. The only reason she used your avatar as a basis is because, well, that's the visual identity people associate you with. It's not meant as a criticism or a way to call you bland or anything, it's just there because we associate you with your avatar.
