  1. I occasionally looked at comments on Ross's uploads for maybe 4 months before I made an account. I'm very glad I decided to take the plunge. I had definitely missed forums. I can also safely say that this place has the highest registration rate I've seen on a forum, but very little saturation. It got busy on the Moon Gaming thread when people basically went "I need to directly tell Ross never to make a Moon Gaming video again".

It's also interesting to see users that only post on the blog threads. They know not to get too immersed in the general section!

Yeah, Moon Gaming didn't exactly become popular. I thought it was interesting.

  2. If you don't feel like dealing with DOSBox, (I find a lot of their setup and instructions to be very confusing) you can just install Windows 98/98se in a VirtualBox virtual machine. It would allow you to play virtually anything designed for 98 or earlier versions of Windows.

My problem with VM is that I can never seem to get DirectX working properly.

  3. 9/10

    7/10 - Small but cute! :D

Can I be the Accursed Stripper Empress? XP

Or if that's too alike, I'll be the Accursed Witch. XD A sexy witch. :P

    Empress ftw

Eh, technically I'm the Accursed Succubus so Witch would probably be better

  4. Can school administrators PLEASE get it through their THICK ASS FUCKING HEADS that children are affectionate by nature and there's nothing wrong with that? Second time this year my girlfriend's nephew (who is FIVE YEARS OLD) has been suspended for PDA. Last time it was three days for hugging a girl he likes, this time they suspended him TWO WEEKS for taking a nap with her at recess. Hugging and snuggling have gotten him SEVENTEEN DAYS combined suspension time. That is SEVENTEEN DAYS SUSPENSION for BEING A FIVE YEAR OLD.

The more time goes on the more I FUCKING HATE US public schools.

Ugh, don't blame you! That's such bullshit!

  5. It's probably also the safest method to just use DOSBox, especially for the non-technically inclined. And while I don't consider myself technology-blind, I wouldn't trust myself to try that out outside of a low-budget "for kicks" project with old, cheap hardware.

It's also much easier to set up.

  6. Guys, I made it even better.

We are now right next to each other, this is perfect. XD I love it so much, even if it is such a small thing.

Rarity, I demand you update your avatar to this 100% perfect one now. XP Please. :P

  7. @Alyxx: You and I share each other's agony. Aww... Long distance is alright if you're used to it. I haven't exactly even kissed a guy yet. So it's not like it's possible to miss! One day though. XP

Met my boyfriend earlier this year for the first time and the chemistry couldn't be better. I've never felt more comfortable around anyone as much as him. We spent most of the time in a hotel room with a common friend and it was like heaven. Now he's back in Australia but he's already planning another trip and this time coming specifically to see me and not just see Norway in general.

  8. DOS is a 16-bit OS. 7.22 isn't really the classic DOS, but a modification to make it 32-bit for Windows integration. Try installing MSDOS 3.0 on that processor.

Though later 32-bit processors can run 16-bit programs and OSes, it isn't really natively running it, just as 32-bit programs aren't really running natively on 64-bit Windows. (it's very close to no-performance-impact virtualization)

Ah, that explains why it worked then...

Either way I prefer running DOS games in DOSBox since it assures I can fine tune the configuration for each game to get the best it can offer.
