I've been listening to Megadeth and Metallica.
IT's like they say about the big four
Megadeth is most technical
Metalica is most melodical
Slayer is most metal
Anthrax is least deserving of being in the big four.
Talking about best metal bands? I think you're forgetting someone.

Ps2 for me. Probably heard this thousands of times. I especially love the way the PS2 logo forms out of nothing really fast. So simple and pretty.

Just finished rereading Misery by Stephen King. It still tears me apart when she destroys his novel.
@Pinkie Pie
Your signature is much too tall. You might be on a high resolution screen, but people viewing it with smaller resolutions, it covers like half of the browser, and for something that's included in every post, that's quite big.

Massive Attack - Tear Drop.Figunaye reminded me of this, awesome song but the video is pretty strange.
I prefer the Jose Gonzales cover. Very different, but great.

Once again, increasing senses would require either reducing other senses, or having a giant brain.

If I had super vision, I wouldn't care for X-rays.
Wider bandwidths is where it's at.
Normal humans can see between about 700 nanometers and 450 nanometers in bandwidth. (red is 700, violet is 450. This is why electromagnetic spectral information with a bandwidth slightly shorter than 700 is InfraRed, and longer than 450 is UltraViolet).
Being able to see between 10 meters and 10,000 nanometers would enable one to see everything from medium frequency radio, low pitch sounds, heat, microwaves and low ionizing radiation.
Think about the implications of being able to see heat alone. (Like body heat.)
Let alone being able to intercept a wide variety of wireless signals just by seeing them.
You can't see low pitch sounds. They aren't electromagnetic radiation, they're just athmospheric vibrations.

I just remembered this game and tracked down the title. Mega Math Blaster. I played it when I was maybe 3?

It's very surreal to watch something you haven't seen since you were 3.

Interesting that there are no mentions of any "serious" rock artists
Genesis
Jethro Tull
King Crimson
Yes
Van Der Graaf Generator
The Strawbs
Traffic
The Doors
Jefferson Airplane/Starship
Deep Purple
Uriah Heep
Camel
...
I wonder if that's because noone on this board likes these bands or purely because people haven't heard them (or about them)? If that's the latter, then I'm sure that some of those who posted here might like some or all of these groups...
Regards
Not sure what you mean. You've listed bands from many different genres. Yes, for example, is a prog rock band.
Bands like Pink Floyd, Rush and Led Zeppelin have been mentioned, which anyone would agree are "serious" rock bands, though I'm not sure exactly what *you* mean by that.

Doing a lot better at Scout since I got the set bonus for the Milkman, Shortstop, Holy Mackerel, and Mad Milk. 150 health is exactly what Scout needs to become a playable class. Mad Milk is great for going after a heavy too. Coat them, then race around taking shots. Every shot you get heals you back up the damage that the heavy manages to get in. My recent play sessions have yielded Kill/Death ratios of 2 to 1 or better.

YOU PEOPLE ARE WEIRD
When I put two cans of soda next to each other, I have to make the shadows line up.

That's it.

I have a 927 song list, but I thought it best to abbreviate.
*Looks at his full 16 gb mp3 player with 895 tracks, makes sad face*
8418 songs total in my lie-berry.

The key to getting lots of music is hoarding. When I hear a song I like, I get the whole album. When I hear that an artist is similar to an artist I like, I download their discography. Oh, and if you're paying money for your music, you'll never have a large collection.

My favorite kind of servers have dozens of varied maps and enable voting so the players can choose the one they want.

I really have a problem with bad ping when sniping. Because then you have to be on target. With a shotgun, flamethrower or rocketlauncher it doesn't matter that much.
Exactly, classes like Scout or Sniper are really affected. As scout, you're moving so quickly, that the instant your crosshairs line up on your target is very small.

I'm afraid many users from the forums have an average ping of 250-300. (Lord Sinister lives in the UK, Jek Jek Tar/Figunaye lives in Poland, Kirkreng lives in the Netherlands, Axeldeath lives in New Zealand. So far awayThe other day I joined a server with like 15 people and it was running sooo smoothly. Everyone's ping was below 80 and the world was a great place. Then some guy with ping of 240 came on. The server was chugging along, making it impossible to play as scout. I hate it when this happens, cause it seems like the person in question is totally oblivious to the fact that they're making the game unplayable for everyone. I don't get why, when picking a server, they choose on with latency that high. Pick one nearer to you, with a low latency.
) The lag usually isn't that bad though, so it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe. And yes, I am stalkzor!!11

Ping isn't constant. If a user in UK joins a UK server, their ping will be fine. I remember I accidentally joined a game on an Australian server and my ping was awful.

Alright. As I said, I'm not some rap buff, but I enjoy raps that tell great stories send a deeper message.

Good rap/hiphop is rare, but it does exist in odd places. I appreciate well done rap not as I do normal music, but as poetry.
Would it be right of me to assume that the rap I listen to is not what you call "good"
For any music to be good, it has to have good qualities. When something is unlistenable and artistically bland, no I wouldn't call it "good"

HELL NO.
Sorry, I just severely hate rap and dubstep.
well then that is your opinion (and loss)
I've heard "your loss" twice on these forums and it pisses me off.
I've listened to dubstep, absolutely hated it.
Almost everyone's listened to rap, and most rap music I hear is total sh*t.
So can you please explain to me how it's my loss?
