It depends on what map you are playing. Some are harder than others. And some are just badly built.

I use both, it depends on what map i am playing. If i am playing a long range map and i am planning on staying pretty far away from the enemy I'll use one of my Machina's. But if it is a small map and i am more or less forced to play a little more aggressive I'll use the standard sniper.
