You're probably thinking of The Awakening, which is some crummy mod where you play as Shephard. This is all I've ever seen of it:

 

Anyway, Opposing Force 2 is set to be released in a month or so (I hope I'm not leaking anything) and from what I've played so far, it's great. So I suspect Season 2 of Shephard's Mind to be even better than its first.

How did I just notice this? I actually really liked Awakening, the voice acting was terrible but I amateur-ishly(?) spliced together voices from the games and replaced them. Everything else wasn't too bad, though, in my personal opinion.

But honestly you must admit FF can get pretty stupid at times.

It's alright, it's not something to get mad over anyway, merely differences in opinion. When it comes to this kind of stuff it's just personal preference.

Just wanted to see if there was anyone else that liked Battlefield 3's singleplayer. NOPE.

There were at least 2-3 guys on the first page (including myself) who enjoyed it.

It just holds a certain appeal to me. Yeah I can make fun of it and point out it's flaws (which I do) but that never detracts from me enjoying it for what it is.

So, here's something interesting. Turns out, some fans made an english patch for KHIIFM. The only way to patch it though is to go through a whole bunch a shit with hacking and whatnot and it's just...EUGHGHHGAAAA

In all honesty though, I'd do it if I could actually find a japanese PS2 online. The only ones I see are pink ones that cost up to 400 bucks.
