I will say, the hyper-violence of the video doesn't really get on my nerves like some baby bronies out there. The minute Pinkie punched Twilight so hard her head fell off, I was turned off from it. Then when she blasted a fucking Kamehameha, I lost it. This wasn't MLP, this was MLP Z Budokai Tenkaichi GT AF Super Brawl.

Point being, the gore is nasty, but nowhere near frightening.

What is the worst thing that could happen in season 4? And explain

It sucks because Hasbro is still sliding down the slippery slope of shittiness and selling out to make toys.

The entire original point of the show was to sell toys and while a few details of certain characters were changed, 90% of Lauren's original plans are still there. And even then, the biggest cash grab, EQG, is non-canon.

Who said it was non-canon? Besides, it's really not that bad.

Anyway, while it's not like I hate Season 3 (On the contrary, I really only dislike how one episode ended) I'm not optimistic Hasbro will take the show seriously anymore. We'll see if it'll pull through, but I'll always have some lingering doubt. I just feel like it won't hold up. Call me a cynic.

Exactly what do all these mods entail? Are they realism mods, texture mods, what? Because that's fucking excessive. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind)

It insults me when people announce a celebrity's or anyone else's deaths through such simple means like Facebook and Twitter and I find it offensive that they would announce this with a sad face at the end of their post - as if that'll make up for the loss of someone else's loved one.

You don't generally use emoticons when you legitimately feel sad and I think it's insulting to basically make light of a matter like that even if you don't mean to. What set me off was the recent death of Lisa Robin Kelly (She played the sister in That 70's Show) and how people just don't seem to see what's wrong with how they spread that. A frowny face doesn't convey true sadness and it shouldn't be used to tell the public when a person has died. I know that that's a pretty nitpick-y and trivial matter but it upsets me every time someone does it.

Okay, I finally found the time and will to watch EqG.

 

 

It was pretty good. There were enough references that it was fun, but not too much that they were too out of place for newcomers or just exhaustively common. The school Cliques and dance numbers were the only groaner parts. The character stuff was all good, especially Twilight as she learns and adapts to the world, approaching it characteristically scientifically, while also screwing up as much as she should. Prinicpal I-don't-give-any-fucks Celestia was awesome, and I-dont-care-if-you-are-a-horse-person-or-not Pinkie Pie was fun.

I thought the dance numbers were fine.

The 'everybody has skirts' thing is a bit weird still but eh.

I'll join just because I like attention.
