Doing a Rifftrax Spider-Man movies marathon.

Nah, if we're both having this problem, it's gotta be that the servers are down.

Video games based on movies, as in playing out EXACTLY like the movie, are almost always crappy. Or are just plain uninteresting and stupid. There are exceptions to the rule, though, such as the Batman Begins game. It followed the movie's plot, but it showed some interesting things from the alternate POV. Such as how the hell did Batman do THIS in the movie? And it also follows the ninja training much more than the movie. But what I typically want from movie licensed video games is either a continuation of the tale, a prequel, or a story wrapped into the movie's story through a different character. Not the same story over again.

The thing with video game licensed MOVIES is that it can actually do the exact same thing as the game and be good. The problem with this, though, is that most video game movies suck. What I want, but won't happen, are video game movies based on the universe but during a different timeframe, you never see that in video game movies because it's a lot of work for something that's not even fully based on the game itself. The plan for the new Star Wars movies is a great example of this, though much different as Disney plans on making side-story movies based on different characters alongside the already-established Episodes.

But all in all, I really just want good entertainment. Period.

Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines (PSP)

Sonic 4 Episode II. And I picked Episode II over I because while Episode II is fun for the most part, has some really great music (at least in the snow levels) and actually got the physics right, Episode I is a poop.

Now compare that to the Star Wars prequels and we're left with all episodes being poop.

It seems Mass Effect and Deus Ex have taken a lot of cues from each other...

Played some TF2 after months. I thought I was going to suck but maaan...shit got real there.
