  1. Honestly, that shows a lot of maturity and a very caring attitude that you would feel so bad about not going out of your way to help someone you don't even know whilst risking damages to you or your car. The reason they call that 'going out of your way' is because it's way more than just like, say, walking past a half-dead child on the sidewalk when you've got nothing else to do. *That* is called being a human being. But going out of your way to help a stranger, while exceptionally nice, isn't always practical, especially if other bystanders are already rushing for aid.

But after already calling it in and reporting the situation, it really would be going out of your way to drive all the way over there, risking damages, when other people are already assisting. Nobody expects you to do more than is enough, and what you already did was more than enough. So don't feel bad. You did a good thing calling 911. Don't write that off like it's nothing.

  2. Mass Effect 3 talk. Nothing really spoiler-y but hidden just in case.

From what I understand, Mass Effect 3's ending is a lot like Deus Ex's ending if internet commenters are to be believed. (Deus Ex doing it better, apparently) And from the preview images I've seen on Youtube of Deus Ex's ending, they do look similar just from that alone, I guess. The reason ME3's ending is so infamous is because of how bizarre a turn it took compared to the rest of the series, and all the plot holes and inconsistencies that accompanied it.

As for the ending of Infinite being unique, I can't help but feel a little cynical seeing as how this is the same dev team that argued against people for thinking the lead woman wasn't 'hot enough'...and then changed her design, anyway. That and the fact that I've been through my fair share of false promises when it comes to videogames. But who knows?

Of course, the fact that it may very well be something we've never seen before doesn't mean that it won't be bad. I admit, I'm not much of a Bioshock fan (played a little of the first one, was interesting but never got around to buying it) so I don't really have any expectations, I'm just hoping it doesn't turn out like crap. Between ME3 and apparently ACIII, we don't need anymore bad endings to popular franchises.

  3. Stop trying to guilt trip me. I'll read it when I get the time (which is basically never. I think I'll always be keeping myself busy with something.)

Actually I wasn't, I was talking about him, not you.

Hah, I was just about to say, "Foal, in another of his rare moments where he changes the entire subject to be all about him.'

    jus kidding I lawf u foal <3<3heartheart

  4. Oh man, Civil Protection. I haven't thought about that show in a loooong time.

I completely agree. The guy that makes that show should have a website, but for the life of me, I couldn't tell you what it is.

Hey, when I first came here I didn't even care much about Civil Protection, I just watched FM. I only started watching Civil Protection once I started coming on here more regularly. :)
