I'm so thankful Gabe is in charge because he put them in their place, I'm just worried about what happens post-Gabe. What if he dies at some point and Episode 3 STILL isn't out, and some new CEO decides to cave in and join the EA Empire, and they decide to completely milk and fuck with the Half-Life franchise? They've already pretty much killed Mass Effect, I could not stand it if they fucked up Half-Life.

Plus, watching him complain about anything is pure genius.

Also, I'm not sure how i feel about you using my name as the name for the little boy in your scenarios (I.E: "Dammit, Billy, that means you too!" "But then once little Billy starts playing near the cliff, then there's no more little Billy."). I kinda feel like you think people with my name are either delinquents or liable to fall off things. XD

You mourn them for a while, but you have to move on. There's not really much you can say to make the pain go away easy, but cheering her up and making her laugh helps, I guess. Just treat her nice is all I'm saying.

Guys from BMS chose to go with reaaaaaaally over the top voices for HECU grunts, and from what I could hear, it doesn't work. I don't mean they're not talented people (quite the opposite, top notch voice acting from what I could hear) but they made grunts sound awful. I feel it wouldn't work too well with your own voice.

It really wasn't that bad, dude. It wasn't incredible, but 'awful'? C'mon.

I have a tumblr but for the life of me cannot figure how how to work it. I just uploaded a derpy Applejack picture for my profile and that was it. When I so desire, I just google search specific tumblrs.

Was at McDonalds earlier today when I spotted an incredibly hot punk chick. Like, she had piercings on her face, really dark eyeshadow, and yet somehow she was the manager. Anyway, whilst I was looking at her, I noticed she was wearing an MLP belt with all the mane six on it. Being the impulsive brony I am, I asked one of the cashiers if I could speak to the manager. Nervously, the guy conceded, "A-alright.", a quiver in his lip. The chick comes up, a confident stare as she asked, "How can I help you?"

Two words were all I needed.

"Nice belt." I said with a smile, and left quickly (my family was already in the car and pissed at me so...), but not before catching a knowing smirk. She knew. SHE KNEW.

And that was the highlight of my day.

At a point in the game, you are in a parking garage and a gargantua begins to chase you until you get outside where the HECU are to commence airstrikes. I am thinking that, if you wanted a good excuse to have a switchover to Black Mesa, you could allow the gargantua to attack Freeman and the attack causes the screen to go crazy, and/or turn bright red or white or something, and when Freeman's vision returns, it could be replaced with the same place in Black Mesa (assuming they have this part in the mod). Then you could have Freeman comment on how everything looks different.

"Ohh man. I think I breathed in way too much smoke from that thing. It's fucking up my vision. Everything looks darker"

Why? Slow news day? I don't understand this. It doesn't even seem like a genuine article, it feels like they're just trying to get the knowledge of it out with as little work done in research as possible just to cash in on views. As if anyone who follows BBC News gives a shit about Half-Life 2, let alone a mod of it. They're 'BASICALLY' right in what they're saying, but it's so misleading. For one, the Black Mesa team aren't 'editing the story', they revamped the chapters to be completely different in most areas. I don't even know why this is so irritating to me, it just is.

All I was gonna suggest was this be put in the 'Serious Discussion' area.

Okay, unless people are making a conscious effort NOT to post or check up on the forum, no one has left. Chuck, for example, never really left. The only thing that has changed here is most likely the schedules. Schools started back up and no one has a whole lot of time to post. But unless you KNOW you are not going to be posting for a very long time, you're not leaving. Your schedule is just different. I just want to make that perfectly clear because it's actually become something of an unnecessary habit for people here to 'declare their absence' and then pop back up relatively soon to post again. You don't need to make such a big deal about it.
