Annoyed the Black Mesa server is busy. I regulared that forum for a good year and a half and yet the people who were bitching about release are probably in there having a big damn party.

Edit: Alright, after about an hour to calm myself I'm finally taking a look at the soundtrack. Must be pretty large, it's taking a while to download. Then again, I'm sure I'm not the only one doing so right now so maybe bandwith issues.

Was playing Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes and was watching the meeting scene with Otacon, and some anime scene with giant mechs just showed up before zooming out from a poster of it, but the poster was too low texture to read. Wonder what that was...

I made the 'Episode Progress in General' thread so we wouldn't need to make speculatory threads like this, and in fact, that was slightly unnecessary considering the 'PROGRESS BAR!' thread fulfilled that role, too. Point is, stop making new episode speculation threads, because they'll just be waste on their own once the episode comes out.

I'm just waiting for Rising to come out so they can focus all their efforts on a new real MGS title. Yeah I know Kojima isn't developing the game, but Hideo is looking over the progress of Rising and that still takes time, so I'll probably play that when it becomes incredibly cheap some time in the future.
That said, I wouldn't doubt Rising beats Black Mesa. I've said all year that I believe it'll come out late this year but now I'm not so sure. And Rising comes out, what...February? March? Somewhere around there, and I honestly wouldn't doubt it if Black Mesa comes out mid 2013 or somewhere around there. I HOPE it comes out before Rising, I'm just giving my opinion.

I'm at work, remotely connected to my PC at home, and just now, I purchased and began downloading the Leviathan DLC for Mass Effect 3.
When I get home this afternoon, it's on.
My cousin has my copy so I bought it in preparation for the event.
So when I get that game back, it's on.

I absolutely, positively, love this fic! My only problems with it is the usage of the word 'Damn' which just seems out of place, and the ending was a bit abrupt. Other than that though, this is really cute. I've had a soft spot for TwilightXRarity even before reading any fics for it, anyway, but this just tickles every feeling I get from watching the show. A bit on the long side, though, so reader's discretion advised.

Ah, I just read about Earthbound/Mother/Zero, earlier. My only experience with these games is the Super Smash Bros games, but I'd been waiting for some kind of localized remake for years. Never happened but I'm still waiting. The game itself sounds great and I like how the characters, and the end boss sounds like something of legends. All in all, this review did stir up my interest more in the game.

I think everyone who calls themselves a Star Wars fan has at least seen the prequels once. Maybe they went into Episode I with high expectations, but when it came to II and III it was mostly obligation. Cause you gotta know how it ends, right?

Well you don't know for how long they stayed there. It could've been a few days for all we know. Leia even had time to pick clothes out and change them to something more formal...and then to something else later. Luke only trained with Kenobi for a few hours and he got the hang of deflecting those training bot laser bolts pretty easily. He could have trained on his own a little with his lightsaber on Hoth or in his spare time in between the films, and he did train with Yoda at least a little more than Kenobi, so if he could learn how to deflect bolts with the Force after only a few hours, I'd imagine after a day or so he could learn some more tricks pretty easily. And, even then, he wasn't all that good, anyway. Vader was toying with him the whole time. The way he handles the lightsaber (in both V and VI) is still kind of amateur-ish. So it's not like he was really all that skilled to begin with. During one of the training scenes, he almost lifted his ship out of the water by just holding his hand out, and in another he held Yoda on his foot while balancing on his hand while also using the Force to lift up a bunch of rocks. So I think it's a safe bet Luke is a really fast learner and he STILL got his hand chopped off.
But that's just my take on it.
EDIT: I doubt Luke was there for just a few hours, but they definitely weren't there for a couple months, there's no reason the Empire would take that long to spring their trap. And how is the 'I am your father' scene awful?
