  1. Thadeus, make a back story.

Ok I thougt it would be good for my character to follow one of you until we all meet. I'm a healing person, not good at fightning so yeah. In a bar? Cool. I can make him drunk at the begining.

  2. Yeah. But this topic is good for consulting rules with DM and creating craracters.

About my back story... Um I just need to know - are we going to start andknow each other or we just met?

Or maybe, I as a medic follow one of your character?

  3. Oh mein Gott, so many posts when I was asleep. Okay, it seems like you all know what are we gonna do. Btw I need fix my sheet, spells, name. Uh I don't want my cleric to have a name "Jek" but I like short common names. Can I just go with "Jake"?

  4. I'll be DM, I guess. I've done it before, kind of . Me and some friends had the idea of rolling a die to see who was going to DM, leave the room for 10 minutes, then coming back and start a campaign; it was loads of hectic fun and improvising.

But okay, I shall be GM. The crossbows will have to wait.

Gimme a little bit to look over the rules you guys had. Also, ikthais is necromancer a custom class, or just an evil cleric? Also you know you won't be able to raise anything but, like, some rats until you level up majorly.

I've write the basic rules, you can keep them if you want.

  5. Skill points don't come until much later. You need to decide/discover your int modifier, then you get a certain number of skill points depending on that and your class, plus if you're a human you get extra.

Fuck, I'm going to have to join this aren't I? I don't even remember pulling out my 3rd edition Player's Handbook, it just appeared as soon as I clicked this thread. Also it seems like I'm the only guy here who's played this before IRL, on several occasions as both DM and PC, though I've never had a character go above level 4.

Also, I will be a ranger who specializes in crossbows.

  6. Allright. It would be great to have a copy of your chracter sheet's. I'm also making a huge file which Iim going to upload and show you. Okay. So...

Start creating your characters. Felix said he will play male elf wizard, ok. I'll take male human cleric, They are both magical team mates so please, don't make anything similiar. However, I've never played as a wizard, and I hardly ever use magical classes, but I'll try to handle it this time. No worries. I may make some language mistakes, 'cause I have all spells only in polish but well... no worries.

  7. here you go

"Each ability score can be increased by 10. The first 6 has a ratio of 1 build point to 1 stat point. The next 2 will cost 2 build points each and the last 2 will cost 3 build points each. Thus the higher you increase 1 attribute by, the lower will be your other ability scores since it cost most to focus. The focus on ability scores is dependant on how important that ability score is and also how stat heavy the build will be."

so therefore lets say i want to increase str to 18, to do that i would need to spend 16 points of my 28 in order to raise one stat to 18

    I'm okay with that.

You start with all atributes at 9.

Wait, Am I suposed to play with guys that never played it in real life before using a language that I still learn?

    Whatever, challange accepted

  8. Edit: Before I start creating any character, we must know those thngs:

-What setting are we going to play on?

-What races are we allowed to use? All, non-basic with lvl mods or only the basic ones?

-What class level are we going to start at?

-Can we add magical items to our characters' invetory?

-How much and what kind of items are we going to have at the start?

    -What place takes the start?

-In what way we build the numbers of character's abilities and atributes? by adding the points or by rolling the dice at the begining?

Felix, I could be a master 'cause I know the rules. The only problem is my grammar and language. I'm not sure If I could handle it well.

Ok, if I'd be a master ten I'd recommand:

    1. No special setting. As long as the improvised world is good, I'd use the most common Dungeon&Dragons fantasy world. I can make a small map (you guys can make it as well during the game) of the area we will play on.

    2. Only the classic races: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD3e:Races (I migh agree on races with level modification +1 but only if you have the monster's handbook).

    3. Start at 1st level, or 2nd of the class. I wont agree on multiple classes like rouge1/cleric1 et cetera, only one class per character

    4. Not at the begining.

    5. Any usefull items +basic weapons and armor.

    6. I'd probably start it in a classic way, don't worry, you all wont just woke up with amnesia.

    7. Start with all atributes at 8, having 28 points for adding them to every atribute.

  9. Edit: Before I start creating any character, we must know those thngs:
