Ah yes...one of the most twisted fics I've ever read. And I love every minute of it. Blackjack is one of my favorite characters of all time. Shame that not many people have read it, as IMO it's at least as good as the original FoE.
OT: I have to agree, that situation is about the worst thing one can imagine. Eugh, it still creeps me out to imagine that happening to me.

I remember a particularly nasty idea..
being tied up, being able to recover damage done to the body extremely swiftly (essentially it's immortality) and being surrounded by cannibals (or simply predators could work too, I suppose), while still being able to feel pain. An all-you-can-eat buffet.

It is apparently from a North Korean children's cartoon. The picture is of an anthropomorphic ear of corn. The anthropomorphic vegetables join together into an army to fight off anthropomorphic blights, plagues, and pestilences to protect the crops. The army is victorious and, to celebrate, the anthropomorphic potatoes are happily killed and turned into food, such as potato chips.
Moral of the story: If you work your hardest and battle your mightiest, you'll be worthy of sacrificing your life for your country. Yay North Korea.
Yeah that sounds about right.
Oh, and 10/10.

Moving over to Victoria II. Playing as Sweden, which is a great power now, and has the second largest navy in the world, but my army is like 10 guys because the population is by far the smallest of the great powers.

Yet somehow anyone has yet to respond to my suggestion to simply turn make the "Don't show signatures"(which we already have) option on by default. Instead we simply ban sigs altogether because of a group of immature people cannot deal with someone else liking something they don't.
I don't like baseball cats, should we forbid people from wearing them in public, too? No, of course not. I have my right to complain about them all I want but I am not gonna ban them. It's not like it's anything offensive either. It is simply an interest shared by decent percentage of the users of this forum.
Anime has nothing to do with any of Ross' work. Should we ban Anime related avatars now? Because we've got plenty of those.
The arguments just make no sense. I'm sorry but to me it still seems like a lazy cop-out.
I guess there just was a lot of pressure from anti-MLP people or something. Either way, Ross felt forced to remove them.

Getting up. I hate mornings, even after a full night's sleep it takes me a full hour to resurrect myself, and for all that time I'm in a "I fucking hate everything and I want to murder your face" mood (which, fortunately, my brother has finally figured out).

Well, I think we oughta stay on topic here, so I'll just say why (in spoilers) I'm a democrat and hopefully we can leave it at that. If you wanna talk more then we could do PMs I guess, though I'm not really looking for a debate, I'm just explaining myself.
Basically I just can't see myself supporting the Republican party in most cases for several reasons. In particular, I will not vote for Mitt Romney because he's promised to cut spending for stuff like social programs, yet he's going to dump a lot more money into the military. I think that's just ridiculous because the military is probably the one thing we have enough money for in the US. We already pretty much have the world's strongest military, I fail to see why we need to add more taxpayer money to that while cutting things like social security that are allowing my grandparents to keep eating. I'm not going to sit here and pretend that welfare doesn't get abused, but there are people that need it and we're not going to solve anything by telling disabled people to work harder. As for taxes, well, this is as good a time as any to say that taxes in the US are the second lowest in the world. On top of that the republican platform of fear mongering and rallying popular support by preaching 'traditional values' (read: no same sex marriage or abortion rights) and making our potential enemies seem scarier is absolutely disgusting in my eyes. Democrats aren't perfect but at least Obama has been trying to fix the economy instead of promising to ban same sex marriage and increase defense spending. Mitt Romney doesn't really seem like a politician to me, he seems more like a businessman, and I fear that if he gets elected that's exactly how he will try to run this country.
OT: Getting involved in political debates even though I wanted to avoid it. Election year, man.
