The N1 was built four times (all four exploded during or after launch) and scrapped. The Ares V has never been built, and was designed for the (now cancelled) 2020 moon mission Project Constellation.

The Delta II currently has the world launch speed record (something crazy like 50,000mph), Saturn V still holds the title for heaviest lift (200,000 pounds lifting) and most powerful engines (7,500,000 pounds force). On this page, The Saturn family is also the oldest of all these rockets, at almost 50 years old.

  2. I really hope that doesn't become this forum's national anthem just because I linked it a few pages ago....

Actually... what would be the National Anthem of the Accursed Farms?

Oh yeah, that's totally our new anthem.

    What have I done?

  3. Could have been worse.

I suspected Cutie Pox would entail cutie marks and chicken-pox like symptoms of dottiness, but taking on all sorts of talents in conjunction was a surprise.

I am more than grateful for Status Quo that it wasn't contagious like real poxes are.

  4. Star Wars Episode 1 is 12 years old, for example. As I'm starting to get along with the years (I know by no means am I particularly elderly), there are definitely signs I'm starting to pick up that indubitably point out that I'm getting older, much to the chagrin of the part of me that wants to stay youthful.

What are some signs you've seen that make you think "Oh man, I'm getting older..."?

  5. What I like about the Parasprite Polka is the fact that it's actually a polka; a song you could polka to. (A polka is a dance that's sort of like a Waltz except you have to jump instead of doing smooth movements.)

It's also the only song I forsee becoming something that some kid convinces a marching band to do.

  6. Well at least they know how to handle it.

Step 1: Tell everyone that something bad happened (mass emails). That way people that may have been victimized are in the know and will take action themselves as much as they can (password changes, etc.).

  7. Found the font that North American, Australian and French highways use on roadsigns.

It's public domain and technically goes by the name of "FHWA Series fonts" but often just goes by the nickname of "Highway Gothic".

Specifically made to be easily read in all conditions: Long distance, poor visibility and high speed all contributing.

Funny, the font is doing it's job best when it's invisible; you never think about the words on the signs, you just automatically take in the information pure as thought.
