  1. America! movie heroes plus Ponies causes mental anguish.

Patton and MLP cure what ails' ya in the turmoil of life, but both cure different things in very different ways. Do not think to yourself "I can counterbalance the effeminacy of the show by watching a manly movie afterwards". It doesn't work.

  2. Here's an interesting piece; one which descends into cacophony, then returns to harmony. Arguably the climax is near the middle amongst the randomness.

How's that for a wrench in the works of when one labels the "crescendo" of a piece?

Your format seems fine to me, although capitalization would be desired.

Also, I forgot Srake on the Character list on pg. 1. Sorry Srake, fixed now.

As it approached, Argyle got a rare view in appreciation of what the Valiant looked like. Similar to most large ships anyone ever heard about on the news or in movies, you only ever got a decent view of them when they were docking with something, since most of the time they were too far away or too poorly lit from the outside to be seen clearly in full detail. The mostly squarish Valiant however made itself quite well pronounced with a rambunctious scarlet paint scheme from stem to stern, interrupted only by a rather snazzy series of four white stripes that ran from the front sensors suite to the front tip of the engine cowlings.

The shuttle docked with an unceremonious *clatch* to the main reception port on the side of the Valiant. The Professor stepped out, almost tripping on the poorly indicated separator seam between the interior door of the shuttle and the port lock of the frigate. Immediately he walked to the bridge, expecting the Captain to be there.

Among the various consoles sat the bridge crew with the officers there doing various sorts of ship-based whatnot that either kept them busy or kept the ship at work. Of all the men in their gray uniforms, one sat wearing a white uniform, playing with a Rubik's cube, having solved two sides. A sideways glance registered he noticed Argyle had returned from the spaceport.

"Any good finds Professor?" he said in a heartily boisterous and friendly old english accent. Argyle procured his datapad, retrieving "sent proper: contracts" to see who it actually was that he had hired in those almost obtusely small moments in the Tavern.

"Let's see... four humans, and three other beings, that I could tell. According to their Register IDs, our employ will be four corvettes, three scoutcraft, four Interceptors and two frigates."

"Small favors!" blustered the Helmsman in a vivdly jovial voice, before becoming preoccupied with his Rubik's cube again.

    "Darril, where's Richard?"

    "Cap' hasn' woken up yet."

"It's nearly 11! Confound it, what do I pay him for?"

"Relax, Professor. We know what we're doing, we'v been in this tub as long as you'v been wearin' glasses."

  4. Recreated from memory. Post count and date are inaccurate.

The list of reasons is extensive, both as to why I left the Escapist Magazine, and how my frequenting it in the past, I became verbose.

    OOG: Be patient.

If you're curious as to why I posted so infrequently since Tuesday, it's because I could only post after I got home from work. Also, startup in Role-Plays is almost always slow. This is compounded by the fact that most players here [i assume from the general indication from the Free-For-All RP thread] have not done an RP before.

If that was in-character, Fluttershy, it was poorly indicated.

  6. The only episode that might be able to offer contrary evidence would be the episode Dragonshy where he picks up a pack that visibly makes him strain, but Applejack carries it fine. However, horses are not strongest in their necks, they're strongest in their legs.

What other ponies might contend Big Macintosh for such a title? I can't think of any other comparably sized ponies that have had as strong of a trimary-or-higher character that aren't Celestia or Luna (presumably, since they are physically much larger).
