  1. I was aware that Accursed Farms existed for a while, and knew that it had a Forum. It was only in one day that I thought to myself "Hey, you've been annoyed with your mainstay forum for a long while (Escapist Magazine). Why don't you move on to greener pastures?"

  2. Other considerable names for members of the Apple Family: Ambrosia, Fiji, Empire, Spartan, Cortland (a crossbred variety from the Red McIntosh), Golden Orange (which would tie in other relations, eg. The Orange family.)

Since Ambrosia apples are native to British Columbia, I know what they're like. They usually have a very rich sweet taste and tangy, almost sharp flavor- imagined as a personality I would think an "Ambrosia Apple" would get along with the likes of Rarity.

  3. Children follow in the conduct of how they are taught to act and what rules they should obey. These are almost always a mix of the nature of their parents, friends, peers and the local laws or procedures of the institutions they attend.

Insuch, I think bullying is caused by the decisions of the individual child as a consequence of the conduct of their parents, and the behaviors of their peers (which would also be consequent of their parents).

I was a victim of bullying in school from about grade 3 to grade 7, and those were tough years although any sort of physical violence was entirely anomalous. Mostly verbal insults and emotional... come to think of it, the best word would be 'annoyance'. I could tell you a long list of stories but let's just say in the end I learned the meaning of the phrase "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me". (An aside, words may not hurt you but they can change you. But the phrase only applies to insults.)

Getting back to the first thing I said, probably the best way to reduce bullying and change the moral conduct (or health habits, among a wide variety of other things that could be improved) of children would be more responsible and informed parents. A lack of education and leadership in that position is the cause of vast swathes of what can be called "The Problem of Youth Today".

  4. I'm glad flyingamerboy figuring out this user interaction stuff for us.

He's like John Stapp, performing human experimentation on himself.

Except he's not doing it for the invention of seatbelts, he's just seeing how weird a user can be.

  5. Am I the only one that hopes Big Machintosh will be more characterized in the future?

Personally I see myself as relating to him the most out of any other character, him being a centralized big brother figure with quite a bit of patience and strength, and being male besides.

  6. Go to Members List, sort by number of Posts (descending).

Everyone from number 1 to number 50 is on that graph.

Some of them overlap since more than half of them are less than 800 posts.

Only four users are labeled specifically, because of their notable and observable Rep difference compared to everyone else.

  7. Pinkie Pie? Portals?

This suggests an entirely new line of investigation beyond simply interromental theory.

Also, I pride myself in still not having read the Cupcakes fan fiction. Contrariwise, the derpy-hooves ninja concept looks like it might be able to... I don't know, Derpy doesn't seem to have enough personality to make that seem characteristic, and most of the other ponies don't fit for that.

  8. Unforunately the raw data for Rep consists of looking through those users' posts by yourself, since their actual Reputation does not show up on their user profile, nor can users be sorted by them on the Members list (which was the source of all information I needed otherwise.)

The four bars near the middle of this graph are Jek Jek Tarr, Rarity, Alphabetagamma and myself. Doing this graph made me realize that if BTGBullseye was inverted, he would have more rep than Alyxx.

Looking at it made me realize a fairly interesting set of trends. (Wherein, reputation does not have to be a number, but rather the general user opinion of a given user). So I made one that represents the internet forum community ideal.

Almost everyone who either knows, or quickly comes to understand, what an internet forum is, aims to be an RCNG. The means by which they seek to achive this usually becomes their understood internet personality, or avatar persona.
