Well that's just a grudge anyone would have against Duke after they get shot into the air and turn into shiny diamonds. Proton seems to have no issue referring to Duke as the world's greatest hero, so he respects Duke on some level. Enough to create an army of him for the purpose of ending the invasion for good, at least.

I haven't beaten the DLC yet (Though I am close) but I can't shake the feeling that Dr. Proton is not as villianous as he seems. Sure he killed all the people in Area 51 (And that's terrible), but it was for the purpose of

. What he would have done with the army after that I don't know, but the first use of it certainly seemed righteous. Maybe I just missed somethigng that painted him as definitively evil, but I dunno.

I lost my AP Government book at school breakfast today. I spent the entire day rummaging through the lost and found crates (No book, but plenty of nice pants), asking every teacher who'd have plausibly seen it, and went to see if the book was turned into the teacher who handles book distribution. No dice. During lunch, one of my friends said she saw a book that looked like the one I described turned into my last year History teacher (whom is fucking awesome), but that turned out to just be a normal history book. After school I decide to talk with him about some stuff then headed back to my AP Government teacher to see if he saw it.

He did not, but as if on cue, someone who I take the class with said he found the book at breakfast and didn't want someone to steal it. My luck knew no bounds in that moment, especially since all of my extra credit opportunities for my exams were inside that book because I'm lazy.

So yeah, I'm riding off the high of my luck and expect to win that Steam wishlist giveaway at this point.

I don't think someone read my post before that one. I'm talking in the literal sense.

The graphics look fine when everything's maxed and "Post-special effects" (Depth of field and color drain) are off. Certainly better on the eye than Call of Duty is for the most part. ESPECIALLY the underwater segments.

And that's why we love it.

4 or 5 times to be exact. And the weird thing is that it's still technically on the Unreal Engine from 2001. They just completely upgraded it on their own from time to time after they decided to stop receiving updates because they messed up the game too much.

Hey this thread is almost a third as big as the Random thread. That says a few things about our conversational habits, doesn't it?

Heard the theme song for the first time a few days ago. Instantly got me interested in the game through the sheer parody yet seriousness of it. The $40 price tag certainly helped the game's case.
