  1. Just played it (several times). Does the Narrator sound like the same narrator as Little Big Planet to anybody else?

    You mean Stephen Fry?

Anyway, I played it and saw all six endings. I must say it's a good game. Very shoddy mapping work, though.

  2. Am I the only one who considered that it could have been that light squeaking noise of machinery? As in part of the level's ambience?

If you listen closely you'll hear a high-pitched squeak, a bit like the noise a bat makes. A second later, "WHAT THAT A BAT?!"

  3. The only problem is (although it's probably just me), there isn't much to make fun of in Lost Coast. The original Half-Life had silly things, things not making sense and, at times, bad level design (and a lot of vent-crawling). Lost Coast makes sense all the time (except for how you got there in the first place, and how you escape).

  4. And hang on, the H.E.V. suit does administer drugs!

Maybe he's used the HEV suit so much he doesn't even notice all that morphene being injected into him. I swear to God, Gordon must have blood made almost of pure morphene. No wonder he's obsessive about drugs.

  5. He'll probably try to negotiate with it because he's 'good with animals' and when that fails, kicks it's ass and says he did that for it's own good because it was 'misbehaving'. Then, I guess he'd go on a ramble about opening his own zoo filled with alien creatures, making sure to include a no money back guarantee in case one of the kids get eaten. They entered at their own risk.

Reminds me of those giant yellow crystals in Xen.

I can really imagine Gordon having some long ramble about extracting the crystals and selling them to one of his friends who happens to be a billionaire, followed by an extensive amount of trying to "extract" it with with his crowbar and eventually giving up. And then the screen fades out with him thinking of more ideas, eventually giving up on that when he thinks about how annoying it would be to carry something that large around. And what he would have done with the money. Purchasing drugs, I presume.
