  1. Alyxx, after your raw resources run out there is only one solution........TRANSITION TO COMMUNISM! ;)

(On a serious side note, communism should never be transitioned unto from a weak state as history has shown, only through the most developed state can communism be transitioned to, and believe me, the most fake communism will appear when your country is at it's weakest, take greece for example)

So yes, communism shouldn't be a last straw, it should be the last transition of a socialist government when everybody or democratically most agree that they are ready.

  2. Well everyone will stumble unto this question at least once, I will firmly state my opinion and reasoning,

Yes, life has a purpose and a meaning in any religion or position as long as you think of one. The difference between atheism and theism would be that the theist would state that life's purpose or reason is known by a theist/thei and in some cases written in a book or handed down to earth in a script. However The atheist's purpose and meaning are his own given to the world, example: My life's purpose is to enjoy my life as much as possible. My life's meaning is to have offspring and protect them.

However, currently I'm a type of monotheist *Not the biblical god* but I believe there is a meaning/purpose in the universe beyond our own.

  3. I agree, Norway is a great country to live in right now.

However improvements I would suggest are less reliance on oil and gas and more independence from USA/NATO (So you are not forced to fight for them).

Really the first point being the crucial one. Finland has Nokia and Sweden has Ikea among other things, Norway needs a major company on it's own that is not oil or gas distributing.

    To underline the importance:

In 2011, 28% of state revenues were generated from the petroleum industry

A key factor is also the small population of Norway.

You are really a very lucky country in a way.

  4. My sincere sympathy for you.

You might want to spend some time with him for now. With time you might somehow contribute to the cure of this disease.

I just googled the disease and found this, I hope your grandpa is one of he lucky ones:

According to the ALS Association, about half of all people with ALS live at least 3 years after they find out they have the disease, and 20% (or 1 in 5) live 5 years or more. As many as 10% will survive more than 10 years.

Stephen Hawking has been living with Lou Gehrig's disease for about 40 years — ever since his diagnosis at age 21. He is the most famous long-term survivor of the disease. Born in England, Hawking is a famous physicist who furthered our understanding of the universe. He has written a lot of books, including the bestseller A Brief History of Time. He has done these things despite being confined to a wheelchair for more than 20 years, being able to move only a few fingers, and needing a voice synthesizer and special computer to speak and write.

Hawking, who has a wife and three children, once said, "The prospect of a short life made me want to do more. I realized life was good, and there was a great deal I wanted to do."

Living with Lou Gehrig's disease is physically difficult, but it is reassuring to know that the mind is not affected. People with the disease can think as clearly as ever, are able to maintain relationships with friends and family, and should be treated respectfully and normally.

Communication can be difficult because the disease affects the person's breathing and the muscles needed for speech and arm movement. With patience, the families of patients with ALS can learn to communicate effectively with their loved one.

Researchers continue to study ALS as they try to understand why it happens, and how the disease damages the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. As they learn more about the disease, researchers can continue to develop new and better treatments.

Stephen Hawking said, "[ALS] has not prevented me from having a very attractive family, and being successful in my work . . . I have been lucky that my condition has progressed more slowly than is often the case. But it shows that one need not lose hope."

  5. Few guys I've met care that much about my voice.

Same here. It doesn't work so much the other way around unless you have this super squeaky-witch voice that makes other's ears bleed! :D

Some boys were making jokes or mocking my high notes when I got excited :D However I'm sure men remember women 90% by the sight not by the audio experiences. Women are different. Ross has a perfect voice :D

Well... I think you've got the wrong idea, I've had one particular relative who desperately tried to get in touch with a woman he had a conversation with on the phone (receptionist) simply because of the voice. He did find her in the end by the way and they were dating for a while after that.

As far as I see it the voice is important in women because I think historically when a man feels very bad he talks to his wife and so a calm and tender voice would be cruical to comfort the man when he is down? :?

Personally, yeah I'm attracted to tender, calm voice? I can't really stand a particular voice that gets really annoying, I know that probably means I'm waay to picky but I just wouldn't be able to live with a person with that voice for a long time because I get stress from particular voices.

  6. Banned because I thought this was a topic for semi-normal accursed users wishing to ban someone to have fun fake-banning people, Bill is here though, having actual ban powers :/

    @The Scoutman

You are also banned for multiple stress factors brought on to me.

  7. Never mind, I thought you went for a debate there.

You can confuse opinions and debates sometimes. :)

And the quote can have very many meanings actually was my point, I know what your grandfather probably meant.

Anyways I think Dalipose gets what Communism is by now.. I think the most basic way to think of it is that communism = live through the community, not individualism. A system where the community basically will share both your failures and glory and so you almost become one with the community...

  8. You should definetly check out your motherboard compatibility.

Another thing is you would need to consider some strong yet not too loud fans for the quipment.

And let's not forget with the graphics card you will probably add another gig of ram to your computer which would make it 9 or 7 gigs respectively.

  9. I am really thinking about leaving facebook, no one really ever talks to me and most of the people I am friends with are people that I have never met in real life.

I didn't even delete my account, I just neglected it and left it to rot so it wastes as much bandwidth on FB as possible.

Well technically you cant delete it its something called deactivation. I think you have to send out a request for deletion then Facebook will either approve of deny. I will say this only thing good about it is that I do not get friends request from random bands.

    Join the club.

@Axeldeath Are you sure that's a spaceship and not something.... testicular?

  10. I've heard you can make a lot of money from donations.... but I wouldn't know and I won't graph this. Too many people have weird mentalities towards donations.

But the truth is donations are only donations when you are giving the money for no business reason whatsoever as in Haiti, Japan, African children starving. When you give donations to someone because he does good work and in hope of more work it's actually not a donation but rather something like a "fan pay, affection pay, hope pay"

That being said please remember not to rant me down as I am merely a person with an opinion here.

  11. Wow, from what I see the last few days, these guys have absolutely no plan. They could have at least had a demand for one reform. Instead they generally protest against everything. How is that going to get them anywhere?

Sounds like people forgot how to protest.....

    Also:

This guy :D, you may remember him from such films as fahrenheit, columbia....

    MNuQlg_IWw8

Besides even in the middle ages you had tradesman. A blacksmith wouldn't have been the same status as a serf.

Not to mention freemasons, philosophers, teachers and religious people such as priests.
