Kirkreng still has one o_O.
Also these new sigs can still be original.

What's wrong with being a JB fan?
-
And it wouldn't get any conversation and would sink into the bowels of the second page, where even the bravest men do not dare enter.
I may challenge that.
Are you still sure you would allow it?

On the forum I had mentioned before they have now completely banned ponies. As much as mentioning it will get you muted/banned. And why? Because pony haters where trolling spamming the forums. Obviously the next logical step is to ban the bronies rather than the spammers.
Logic.
There cannot be a brony hater without a brony..... So I think your story is a bit one sided

I would be amused to know what would you think if I made a justin bieber clan here? And a justin biber thread, and mention his updates, events and songs on threads? And remind you of him by putting a picture of him in my avatar.

Go ahead and lie that you would allow that

Since sigs were removed this forum runs much faster for me

Good for denmark?
I actually think a huge part of fast food being so popular is because it is very cheap and already ready.
So taxing it would be a good idea IMO
as long as people generally agree with this tax. Also the tax can go to the government that can do a bunch of good/demands for the from the people.
EDIT:
In order for it to work they have to make healthy food cheaper then fat food though.

I love the way Rarity is drawn there.
Wow I just watched this video and then went to this section randomly and I see you posted the same video here....!!!!
Weird Coincidence.

Haha, welcome, we've had some changes.
Missed you for sure. At one point I made a rep points to post scale and you were on top of the chart

Does this mean you will start posting in the abortion topic again, cause that topic is now favouring the other side.
Also Alyxx is admin.

Nineteen Eighty Four was a well crafted read.
I would quote a lot of the book, but it would be excessive.
Hence I say pieces.
This thread is also specifically for pieces that by reading make you feel like you live in that era of history.
This is another one I like.
Niccollo Machiavelli: The Princedom Chapter 7, 1400's
Concerning Cruelty And Clemency, And Whether It Is Better To Be Loved Than FearedCOMING now to the other qualities mentioned above, I say that every prince ought to desire to be considered clement and not cruel. Nevertheless he ought to take care not to misuse this clemency. Cesare Borgia was considered cruel; notwithstanding, his cruelty reconciled the Romagna, unified it, and restored it to peace and loyalty. And if this be rightly considered, he will be seen to have been much more merciful than the Florentine people, who, to avoid a reputation for cruelty, permitted Pistoia to be destroyed. Therefore a prince, so long as he keeps his subjects united and loyal, ought not to mind the reproach of cruelty; because with a few examples he will be more merciful than those who, through too much mercy, allow disorders to arise, from which follow murders or robberies; for these are wont to injure the whole people, whilst those executions which originate with a prince offend the individual only.
And of all princes, it is impossible for the new prince to avoid the imputation of cruelty, owing to new states being full of dangers. Hence Virgil, through the mouth of Dido, excuses the inhumanity of her reign owing to its being new, saying:
Res dura, et regni novitas me talia cogunt
Moliri, et late fines custode tueri. 1
Nevertheless he ought to be slow to believe and to act, nor should he himself show fear, but proceed in a temperate manner with prudence and humanity, so that too much confidence may not make him incautious and too much distrust render him intolerable.
Upon this a question arises: whether it be better to be loved than feared or feared than loved? It may be answered that one should wish to be both, but, because it is difficult to unite them in one person, is much safer to be feared than loved, when, of the two, either must be dispensed with. Because this is to be asserted in general of men, that they are ungrateful, fickle, false, cowardly, covetous, and as long as you succeed they are yours entirely; they will offer you their blood, property, life and children, as is said above, when the need is far distant; but when it approaches they turn against you. And that prince who, relying entirely on their promises, has neglected other precautions, is ruined; because friendships that are obtained by payments, and not by greatness or nobility of mind, may indeed be earned, but they are not secured, and in time of need cannot be relied upon; and men have less scruple in offending one who is beloved than one who is feared, for love is preserved by the link of obligation which, owing to the baseness of men, is broken at every opportunity for their advantage; but fear preserves you by a dread of punishment which never fails.
Nevertheless a prince ought to inspire fear in such a way that, if he does not win love, he avoids hatred; because he can endure very well being feared whilst he is not hated, which will always be as long as he abstains from the property of his citizens and subjects and from their women. But when it is necessary for him to proceed against the life of someone, he must do it on proper justification and for manifest cause, but above all things he must keep his hands off the property of others, because men more quickly forget the death of their father than the loss of their patrimony. Besides, pretexts for taking away the property are never wanting; for he who has once begun to live by robbery will always find pretexts for seizing what belongs to others; but reasons for taking life, on the contrary, are more difficult to find and sooner lapse. But when a prince is with his army, and has under control a multitude of soldiers, then it is quite necessary for him to disregard the reputation of cruelty, for without it he would never hold his army united or disposed to its duties.

You guys do know there's a popup box that asks why you gave or took reputation from someone, right? Just make it manditory.
Besides, I like the rep system. It's cool, but only when used appropriately. People like Blue and Rarity deserve their high reps. Flyingamerboy deserves his negative rep. The rep system is usually somewhat accurate except for with Michael Archer and BTG, but those are the only examples I can think of.
Well they did kind of ask for it (in different ways). Maybe that shouldn't be allowed or something.
I think BTG at first got some negative rep due to one, two topics in the serious topic section where his argument wasn't popular, then he got kind of stuck in an unlikely reversible position and so asked for his position right now as it covers his actual reputation effectively... Anyways, he's in college and not on AF farms as he said "for a while" so forget about that.
Michael Archers' situation is basically Btg's situation without having asked -rep to cover his actual rep with a few other -reps in the free for all section which he got due to some problems with his openmindedness. But I think he likes to be openminded.
I noticed I got some random - rep myself.. without declared reason

However I'm fine with that, I only wish to have enough points to give someone rep when I want to for they deserve it. I already stated a possible solution for that a page ago.
If you want to prevent a BTG case with rep, I suggest you refresh any rep beyond -30 back to 0 to give a chance for the person to recover.
Recovering from -30 to 0 is extremely tough simply because of the prejudice the -30 gives to users and their doubt to give someone like that +rep.
There are other ways to give the negatives a chance to recover.
1. Every + is worth 2 (or a system with even higher points for each + when user has even lower rep) points if you have a negative rep.
2. Higher ranked members give more points per + rep.
3. Rank Titles. Every 5 points the Title changes. At 30 negative or positive points the title stays the same. This system has many beneficial roles one being that people don't just plainly see a -36 and therefore highly doubt to +rep or - rep. Titles will be both interesting and won't give as big an impression as numbers on people.
4. Hide the points but keep the system. Only show the sign before the actual number and 0 when it's neutral: +, -, 0

Okay, a conversation. That's what I meant, but it did become an argument at some point back there.
I just feel that with the direction this thread is going, it should be sent to the Sexuality thread in Serious Topic Discussion.
This thread started and stopped being serious during Michael Archer's time here

Now on to the topic,
I would have never thought there would be more variants in a forum then females.
Seems to be there's a lot more variants in the world when you can say that you are one without being afraid.
There even could be a percentage of 10-20 % of people considering themselves variants in the world...

One word,
GLITCHEEEEEEESS!!!!!!
lAn8BFhD0t4
This game is fucking crazy !!!

And if there is this many really obvious glitches in beta we can expect many less obvious in the final version.
But in reality the new engine is something I've been looking for forever.
Everything get's destroyed, that's right no more spray paint after grenade hits the ground/wall like in all fps shooters before. No more walls that stay intact after shooting them with a bazzoka. Make your own door by shooting a hole into the wall.
This is a huge step forward in fps gaming and realistic gameplay and will bring many tactics I wanted to try with it.
Imagine killing your enemies by making the building collapse on them. Imagine artifical trenches by exploding the ground?
Now BF is always going to be BF, a good multiplayer fps game with arcade vehicle gameplay but fun. However the BF series was always lacking serious competition. When these new features will be used by Valve and the other big companies we can expect some serious gaming.
Something like counter strike or Half-life combined with this engine... oh man.
I predict someone is going to use minecraft on relation with my post -_-

Wow michael archer... just wow, I had to make an account just to answer to that.
Private companies are NOT the source of the best stuff. I'm sorry but low-quality junk comes from everywhere: the fact is that competition has good points and bad points and it is definitively not perfect (I'm looking intensively at the concept of making stuff un-repearable so you instead have to buy new products instead. This leads to less resistant products being created as well as a plethora of enviromental problems). Capitalism also fails on several points, especially pure capitalism
On the concept of public vs private school I'll have to say I am deeply anti-private school, for multiple reasons (you'll have to be aware here that I'm basing my opinion on the school system here in Quebec (Canada)).
First, there's the whole better education banner. As far as I'm concerned this is untrue. I have friends who have gone to private school and I didn't see a terribly big difference in the education they received.
Secondly there's the concept of better grades in private schools. Most private schools usually boot those who don't have the grades. Where do these people go? to the public system (unless they pay to stay . . .). End of point
Thirdly, and this is closely related to my second point, the so-called better support fails to work when most students in dire need of it end up in the public system.
There are a few more but those are the biggest ones (that and paying for a system that's 60% funded by the government (where I live, I don't know how it works elsewhere).
Regarding your opinion why public school is immoral amazes me. That's why we live in a democracy, so that you can go speak out your opinion at the school council-thingy (not sure how you call those). Public school is actually more democratic for that than private schools, because you have a say on how things are done (usually. Exceptions always exist).
As far as uniforms go, I find them to be completely useless. Guidelines regarding clothing, yes, you have those everywhere. Set uniforms? Don't actually do anything worthwhile
Hahahaha, this is especially funny to me because you are the second person (after me) to make an account because you just had to answer to one of michael archers posts.

.Mind as well stick around now

That is a shameful 2.1 ghz indeed compared to my 3.29 ghz

Haha, you think I liked it when I was in schools in Germany and Canada (Where they actually play the anthem in the morning every day)
As I said, assimilation is the primary objective of schools, so suck it through.
I moved schools because I moved places.
As you can see by my location I moved even since the time I joined this forum half a year ago.
But I also moved schools in Ukraine simply because I didn't liek some and they accepted that and moved me. (Public)
-------EDit:
Furthermore I got my education from textbooks (Including school) and internet..... at home, from school I never really learned a thing.
University and College is education, but before that it's mostly assimilation.
So, yes, I do think of school as a conscription of children.
-
If I had my druthers, I might advocate something like the old apprenticeship system. I don't see how anything could beat one-on-one, specialized learning from accomplished professionals.
For this I agree. I was exhausted of group-jerking around at school and of teachers whom I had to teach....
I believe specialized or digital home-schooling is the future.
-
On what planet is it THAT easy to switch schools?
I believe I did read somewhere that in the USA it is actually hard to switch schools, as for me I have switched schools 15 times in my lifetime without a problem.
Also, in what century is "lie back, close your eyes and think of [England]" still considered an acceptable solution to a problem?
If school were to be thought of like a conscription and a discipline why should it differ from an army.
In reality school uniforms don't do anything to improve the learning environment that a dress code doesn't do. You can still tell who the poor kids are, and who the rich kids are, and anything else that clothing says about a person. It's all still there.
Except that uniforms titillate the freakazoids.
[/rant]
It helps assimilate the children OR seperate the assimilated from the rest.
@Michael
Stop doing that and explain yourself or I will eventually force you into an IRC speed-debate about your type of "capitalism"

You are getting really predictable I have to say....

A sad day for sure, even if you don't like apple steve jobs was a competition and therefore drive and motivation for microsoft to do better.
Also his phones are pretty good.
I don't know much about what he did with the money of profits of many his overpriced products so I can't say much about that.
One thing that's bothering me.
What's with north american celebrities and cancer?? They seem to get it more often then the rest of the world...
