  1. okay...i love this forum! this game looks perfect, and its available on Gamestop! /nerdgasm

only downside is it's not released till the 23rd! eh well lucky i'm the patient type :D

EDIT: i own Assassin's creed II, Brotherhood's on my list. Fallout 3, i own it, but im stuck on it and i gave it a rest..like last week, i think. But thanks for all the recommendations Rusty, i appreciate it!

    edit: yep it works.

Where are you stuck in Fallout 3, I can help, considering I've completed the game and all it's side quests numerous times.

  2. When I was 12 I had my first sexual experience. At the time, I lived in a little suburb outside of Cleveland and anyway, the girl next door and I were really good friends. Our parents were both gone for the day and she was over playing Transformers with me. So anyway, we kinda got.. Bored I guess? And we started playing truth or dare, which turned into ‘you show me yours, I’ll show you mine". So anyway there I Was, 12 years old, heart pounding, blood rushing in my ears, and the chick (who was a year older than me actually) takes off her panties and hikes her little skirt up. so What did I do, you ask? I whistled for a cab, and when it came near, the license plate said “fresh” and there were dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought “naw forget it, yo home to bel-air!” I pulled up to the house about seven or eight and I yelled to the cabbie “yo homes smell ya later!” Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there. To settle my throne as the prince of bel-air.

  3. The sheer amount of teachers required for that is ridiculous,

Two teachers to be precise, one to teach evolution and one to teach creationism. It is typically taught in Grade and Middle school so it wouldn't be too hard.

also why would you let children decide what to learn?

We do it already with electives and it isn't like they can choose neither. You act like kids are complete idiots. By that time they have already probably made decisions about religion and whatnot so it isn't like they can't do it.

  4. zakalak, you mean like agnosticism?

In truth, I respect the creationists more than the agnostics; agnosticism is the most cowardly position one can take. The agnostic equates knowledge with arbitrary claims; he thinks that arbitrary claims have equal epistemological value to empirical evidence. Also, the agnostic puts the burden of proof on the negative i.e. he says "You can't prove God doesn't exist, so I guess we'll never know."

Evolution is not opposed by any theory and there has been no empirical and objective piece of evidence to the contrary i.e. the evidence for evolution is conclusive. Therefore, evolution is valid and is knowledge: contextually. By context, I mean it supports all other knowledge without contradiction, in application and in the valid empirical method the evidence was obtained.

I'm saying, teach them whatever the fuck they'd rather learn. Sorry for the language there but you missed my point. This is the best way to avoid confrontation like this, and no, Everything does not have to be a fight, debate, or whatever. Cater to the people.

  5. The animation is nothing spectacular, the stories are typical of children's shows, morals are solid and characterization is very well done. Mystifying is the word I would use to describe why it has become so popular among not-young-girls.

"Kick-your-self-in-the-arse" is the compound word I would use to describe those who think that the only opinions of it should be "Love it or hate it". It has the same positionation to me as Spongebob Squarepants: a respectable success but outside the realm of my better intrigués.

Additionally, another one of those quirks I have is the consistent logistics-checking my mind does in the background, and the ratio observed of female:male is anomalous to say in the least. However such concerns are obviously alleviated by the fact that I am over-thinking a Children's TV show. Another reason why it comes to no one's surprise to know that my favorite movie is Apollo 13.

I hate this show for one reason... People mic spam the songs out of this cartoon on my TF2 server, and it drives me CRAZY!

Winter's over, winter's over, let's have some holiday cheer

Winter's over, winter's over, Cause tomorrow spring is here

    Cause tomorrow spiring is here.

Imagine that on repeat for the rest of your life.

I don't like it, cause Imma man.
Oh ho ho ho! AH HA HA HA HA! BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

    HAHAHA.gif

Oh no, now I remember that. Curse you ALPHABETAGAMMA!!!!

  6. I am not an anti-brony but I am sorely tempted.

I am not a brony because I do not want to be part of the consequent generalizations or stereotypes.

Also, thank you Username for the hilarious picture of me. Also, we are no longer friends in Steam.

If you're talking about the Twilight Sparkle picture, I didn't make that.

I unfriended everyone because ABG sent me an invite to the AF chatroom and there was no real subject going on (I was doing my OP work on my Minecraft server at the time.)

I'm refriending everyone but I don't want anymore chat invites.

    You have a minecraft server???

  7. Also, I have a rather odd knack for remembering the most pointless of fact and concepts, but never names.

Isn't that the way it is for all geniuses?

I thought of a few more...

I can hike through extremely rough forest terrain with a 100lb+ pack indefinitely.

I am a natural with guns, and very proficient with a bow.

I naturally notice good sniping spots everywhere, and the innumerable holes in federal security at airports.

I can make things that shouldn't be able to work, work. (my old car, with a quarter-inch hole in the radiator, just a minor example)

I can annoy people on forums very rapidly when I want to, without breaking forum rules.

Every girl I have become friends with (hundreds) have either outright asked at some point for "sexytimes" (as Doom so delicately put it) or been obviously willing, yet I have not left my virgin status behind.

So... You could be James Bond???

I do parkour and am good with guns, not a natural as BTG put it, but good either way. Well, handguns and other sidearms at least. Oh yeah, the first (and pretty much only time) I used throwing knives I hit my target.

  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClfGB8AZgBY

I couldn't find the original on youtube so here is a good remix of it. Anyways, this is one of the reasons why electronic and classical are some of my favorite kinds of music. It's one thing to influence someones emotions using lyrics, it is something completely different when you can do that without lyrics. That's what makes this song so magical. I wish I could find the original but this is close enough to it that I don't care too much.

  9. Trying to wrap my mind around Peter Shipkov's Overburn Technique, which is basically using a fluid simulator as the rendering shader for particles, as opposed to directly using particles with particle shaders, or fluids with fluid shaders.

My brain is full of PP ramp samplers.

Sounds like it could get very sporadic.
