  1. I don't like the Randomizer mod since it's extremely luck oriented. Inexperienced players will often win over veterans since they have the better loadout.

For example, a Scout with a rocket launcher and Sticky Launcher will win against a Pyro with a syringe gun and pistol.

Even though I'm sort of dropping the context given how goofy it's obviously meant to be...

  2. A pretty severe case of lilapsophobia (fear of storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, and the like), mild-moderate case of arachnophobia (fear of spiders, but we all most likely know of this one), speksophobia (fear of wasps), apiphobia (fear of bees), and atychiphobia (fear of failure).

    YEP I'M HEALTHY

  3. Rarity decided to go to some hideous 24/7 instant respawn 2fort server. For some reason I joined him. I don't think I can play TF2 again for at least a week. It's so depressing. CTF is basically gametype that rewards the defense (a.k.a. everyone) and punishes anybody foolish enough to actually try to capture the flag (a.k.a. you).

Since your entire team of engineers, W+M1 pyros, WC snipers and failspys don't seem to be very interested in actually capturing the flag you try going scout. You make your way past the 2 enemy sentries and finally make your way to the intel room only to find another sentry waiting for you. The only class left with any chance of getting past the sentry armada and sniper firing line is the spy you become another failspy that thinks they can actually play well. What a fun game type.

Are you joking? 6v6 is for scrubs. Division 1 pros play 24/7 instaspawn 2Fort.

Seriously, I feel your agony since I used to be an avid 2Fort player. I've not played it in quite a while, instead loving payload and some CP maps (pretty much anything except for Spambowl).

Is it just me, or do payload teams always seem to be beautifully organized, CP teams are ok, and CTF teams are nightmarish?

  4. or if you're as awesome as Taimou
Yes, because I'm sure that wasn't the most cherry picked clip in the history of TF2. He's always doing that.

I didn't say he always does that sort of thing, but he is a very proficient Medic.

Besides, I linked that as a tongue-in-cheek rebuttal to what you said about comp. players taking Medics down in 10 seconds.

  5. If you think for a second that any competitive player wouldn't be able to kill a melee medic in 10 seconds flat you're crazy.

On a more conducive note, Medics aren't really supposed to go rambo in competitive (unless in a pinch or if you're as awesome as Taimou). I think the best comp. Medic loadout would be the Overdose (higher speed to get away; you shouldn't need to fight that much so the lower damage is negligible), Medigun (obvious reasons), and Ubersaw (if in a pinch, you can save yourself with a ninja uber).

  6. I have a new quest. One I will devote my life to. I will drop out of school and quit my job to complete this.

My quest is simple on paper. I aim to find a 2Fort match that doesn't include the following:

    a) Severely incompetent F2P who refuse to learn or do anything remotely useful.

    b) Team stacking ranked competitive players looking to stroke their ego.

    c) All of the above.

As you can see, I'll be gone awhile. I'll miss you all.

I don't expect you to return.

Farewell, Rarity; we knew ye well.
