  1. nothing like the sobering realization that my shitty internet is gonna interfere with something I've been planning for over a week. now I have to wait for a spot to open......

YOU TOO!? Ugh, Everything is lagging, even on the lowest settings! I might have to update everything. Plus, I have to go to a cookout. So much for this game.

I should take this upcoming rant over to the Vent thread.

  2. Just saw a emergency message on the T.V. saying that were going to have a severe thunderstorm at 10:27 PM tonight.

    Ah, severe thunderstorms... any hail?

Nah, but it was pouring harder than Niagara Falls up here, Strong winds too.

  3. Blightmare, it takes everyone a while to go to sleep. That's why I'll set my watch to wake me up in thirty-five minutes. I heard it takes seven minutes on average for a human to fall asleep (could be a bullshit statistic).

No I mean, I REALLY have trouble falling asleep. when I lay down, I'm rolling over like a motor, my mind is thinking of everything I'm going to do the next day, which makes me anxious and fidgety, and my eyes creep open, etc. I'm lucky if it takes an hour just to settle down to try and sleep.

I have the same problem. It's more dangerous for me though (I'm 14) because my body needs the appropriate amount of sleep for healthy development. That's another thing though Michael, you probably shouldn't try this if you're not old enough. (18 or so.)

  4. Love the show. Rainbow Dash replaced Gordon Freeman as both my desktop wallpaper and by iphone wallpaper.

I like the show because the characters are extremely likeable and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

I don't understand people that hate it. I mean, I respect their opinion and I can see why they hate it, but why do they have to go on crusades to make other people feel bad about liking it?

Because you don't conform to the social norm. They try to stamp it out of you, to change you. Their way of logic is like this, "If I feel uncomfortable about it, then I should hate it, and so should you. I'm going to change you whether you want to change or not." It's all about masculinity and pride.
