  1. 45c for both? Unless you're using a laptop that's unusual... (desktops usually have a bit higher temps for the GPU than the processor)

If you don't get any help from Dell (like happened to me when my system was overheating) let me know.

Yeah for both, using a laptop.

Ill make sure to check back with you when Ive spoken to them, thanks :)

  2. You might want to check your CPU and GPU temps... Stuttering in videos can be caused by overheating.

Also, get rid of VLC and get K-Lite Codec Pack. Install it with the player (Media Player Classic - Home Cinema) and it's way better than VLC.

Temps are around 45 when Im playing videos, so I dont think thats the problem. Im gonna call dell support tomorrow and see if they have any idea.

  3. Rant 1: Fuck you, dentist. I will call you when I want to check my teeth. Dont make me call you up and cancel the time.

Rant 2: The grenade launcher is in the game to be used. Shut the fuck up or go on another server.

Rant 3: Go fuck yourself high school piece of shit.

Rant 4: Treating me like crap for 8 years, and then be nice once in a while the next 2 years DO NOT change anything. (You are gonna get whats fucking coming. I dont consider you to be family you bastard)

Rant 5: STOP SPAMMING DISGUSTING FUCKING PICTURES!!!!!

  4. What about the rest of your computer? Is it suffering lags as well? Have you tried other media players to see how they handle the videos? I'd guess that your install of VLC is corrupt and a simple uninstall then reinstall might fix the issue. Also, have you updated anything else since this started happening, such as drivers or the OS?

I have recieved no updates. Ive tried other media players, not working. No reinstall has helped.

Whatever Im doing it just randomly lags from time to time...

  5. Is it only with the family guy DVD (could be a damaged disk), or does it do that with all videos? Is it fine with movies stored on your hard drive, or does it only act up with optical media? If it only does it with DVDs, it's possible something is funky with your optical drive or that VLC isn't properly decoding the DVD (if you can, try other DVD player software to test this). I might not be remembering this correctly, but I think with the last major revision of VLC, the developers changed the way the program handles DVDs. You could try using an older version, such as 1.1.x, and see if it gives you the same problems. You can also try making a copy of the DVD and seeing how VLC handles it when it's stored on your hard drive.

I doubt it's your computer's ability to handle the video format on DVDs. If it can't playback simple MPEG2 video, it's probably overdue for some upgrades lol.

All dvds (and videos that Ive downloaded)

(and now it seem to be random lagging no matter what I do..)

My specs should be enough to handle the things that I do on this thing..

  6. Don't they give you like a map or something?

Those are distributed with agendas, and homeroom teachers are the ones to assign them.

How do I receive an agenda with a map? Get to my homeroom. How do I get to my homeroom? I use the map that I don't have!

That was quite similar to a Freeman's Mind quote, but given that I'm not in the best of moods right now, it's hardly tongue-in-cheek.

Its probably gonna be the same for me....

  7. I hate hanging around people (irl that is) that I dont fucking know. I hate being nice to people, yet 90 % of the time where I want to say "Fuck you" I automatically say something nice which makes me out to be something Im not: A nice person.

FUCK YOU SCHOOL. FUCK ALL YOU PEOPLE IN NEW SCHOOL!

  8. The Avengers. What a horrible piece of ****. They gotta stop doing these Superhero movies. The original hulk was one of my favorite movies. So was dark knight. Now they've just turned into something... really, really bad. I used to read these comics in the 90's. There was a story behind all those screens of action sequenses. Now it's just... meh.

Did you see the other movies which introduced each "hero" ? Captain America, Thor, Iron man etc. ? That would give you the stories of each character :)

  9. When you have noise cancelling headphones, you really can't give less of a shit about the noise even if you tried.

I concur! I have a noise cancelling headset. The only draw-back is people... Yeah I can't get that one sorted yet until I have a desk in my room... A big shiny desk to fit into my tiny but cozy room... Yeeeeeaahh.

That feeling when I finally moved my PC into my own room....
