Well, offline mode didn't work for a while but now it works fine, at least for me. Starting games works fine too.

 

Oh, and you can actually buy games on discs and install them from the disc, that's how I've bought a lot of Steam games actually.

Well, installing from Skyrim's disc was almost impossible..

Steam is good but it's in no way the pinnacle of excellence when it comes to user experience. Intrusive DRM, no global price policy, "cannot find Steam", "The servers are too busy to access this game", bad offline mode etc. the list goes on.

 

Steam is good for its sales and the load of extras that come with it.

The good old days when you would put in a disc, wait 2 hours for install and then play it without problem. Id rather have that then the onlineplatform BS.

OT: Was "Black" released for xbox? That was an awesome game for the ps2 atleast, had some kickass graphics for the time, and the gameplay was really good.

I hate when people doesnt ask you if they can come with you home, they just go with you to your house and when you ask: "Where are you going?" -"To you."

Yesterday I was gonna play some Amnesia with my friend, and without asking me first, he brings home 2 other guys. I mean, its OK for people to come to my house as long as they ASK first. Atleast these are guys that I know, but still.

The worst scenario was last summer, when me and a friend were going to my summer-house, he was gonna sleep over and then we would tale the bus to the location.

Now there was this guy who I strongly dislike (for personal reasons) and we waited for him to clean his house (it only took him 6 hours, all of those Which I sat there waiting). But finally he managed to get his ass outside, and then his parents called, said that he hadnt cleaned good enough and had to come home. Who got the blame? Me ofcourse. I had apperanly been "stressing" him. /facepalm

Anyways, me and my friend was outside without him, having fun. Eventually we went home, and who comes knocking on the door? You guessed it. I let him in, and eventually I say: arent you going home soon? Its pretty late. The answer: Im gonna sleep here. DID I SAY YOU COULD?! NO!!

In the morning, he doesnt clean up after him, he just goes home..

My point: Have a little respect and fucking ask me first if you can stay at my house !

Yeah but why is spring break so special? Hell, I get 7weeks of no school in the summer but I hear less people rave about that than I hear people rave about spring break.

Yes summer break is fucking heaven, (I have 10 weeks!! >) but one week of vacation in the middle of everything is not so bad either And I dont consider it to be that big of a deal, but no school in any form is good enough for me.

If you download a movie, you can be pretty sure that the first guy paid for it, so the company atleast gets a little money, but still bad.

If you steal a movie from a store, no one gets paid full price (the store probably pays for the movie to begin with) but they probably loose more money here..
