  1. and they were obviously to dumb to understand that people dont want the same game over and over.

Actually quite the opposite, they are "smart" enough to realize people do want the same game over and over again, which is why as long as games like Cod stay popular we won't see Activision do anything new.

Yeah, its worked untill now with cod, but how long do you think that cod 4 is gonna last ? They have released the same game 3 times now, people will get tired of it. Once again guitar hero, too many releases of the same game in a short period of time, Im sure they are gonna do the same to cod, eventually.

A sequel is supposed to be the last game with improvements sure, but when they barely do ANYTHING, then its not gonna last for too long.

  2. EA = almost ruined bf3 with their Origin and battlelog. Ruining need for speed.

Activision = ruining the games that give them money because they want.... Well money... Someone needs to teach these assholes that quality is worth more than quantity. I mean look at guitar hero, after Metallica they literally started SPAMMING out games, and they were obviously to dumb to understand that people dont want the same game over and over. The same thing is eventually going to happen to call of duty if they dont start making changes soon....

  3. Just hit 100 smithing with my 28 Khajiit assassin, I now have dual wielding legendary daedra daggers, legendary daedra bow, a full set of legendary dragon scale armour, and I dont know what to do next xD Any advice ? Any other skills that arent combat that are useful ?

  4. Fallout 3 (skyrim is actually better as a game, but fallout 3 was the first RPG game I really got into.

Have you tried New Vegas yet? It's certainly the better Fallout game, seeing as skills outside of "guns" are actually useful. And shooting without VATS is viable.

Story's also way better as well.

Seeing as fallout 3 was so good, I shat my pants when new vegas was announced, got it the first day (Got my money on the other side of town and then got downtown in 4 minutes, usually takes 15. Never biked so fast in my life) Got my new vegas, got home, played it, sucked. I liked it at first, but it got worse as it progressed. It just felt, unfinished...

  5. I was just about to do a thread about this :D

    Anyho, my favorite RPGs are:

    1. Fallout 3 (skyrim is actually better as a game, but fallout 3 was the first RPG game I really got into. I think I have about 500 hours of gameplay. It actually broke my ps3).

    2. Skyrim.

    3. Mass effect 2

I want to get into more RPG games, so I guess Ill be checking this thread out for other games.

  6. Played battlefield bad company 2 and Battlefield 3 back to back, there is a HUGE difference between these games. I thought the graphics was gonna look a little better and such, but no. This is like comparing mass effect to fallout....

  7. Ok so Im currently a lvl 9 Khajit assassin mixed with mage. Does anyone know what sneak perks to fill? And should I lvl up smithing so I can make better armour? (I currently have. Nightingtale armour)

Level up the sneak skill tree that gives you damage multipliers. Of course, having the other side of the tree for general sneaking wouldn't hurt, but with the right equipment and those damage multiplier perks, you can have sneaking damage of 30x or higher.

You need a dagger for the 30x if I remember right, so that wouldn't really benefit a mage unless he uses magic solely to assist his sneaking/combat

Sneak it is then. And yeah I use daggers so there should be no problem :) Also, is there any perk that gives you high enough arrow sneak crits? Is it the same as the dagger one? Because one-hitting guards long range would really make everything a whole lot easier...

    Thanks for the help! :)

  8. see this is why I love valve. They dont have anyone telling them how and when to make games. Even though it kinda sucks waiting for half life 3, its not like Im upset with it taking so long because I know its gonna be really awesome when it comes out. Its sad that EA always ruins games, cant they just publish ? Why do they have to get involved with the games? Take for example Battlefield 3, awesome game, too bad they had to make Origin and Battlelog to fuck everything up. Publishers suck.

  9. I still cant get over the fact that you cant start skyrim from the disk.. Why not?! Is there any reason not to have this?! Why does bethesda agree to have skyrim on steam?! It would have been ok if you had to register, but didnt have to be online in order to play A SINGLEPLAYER ONLY GAME!!! What the fuck people?! What the fuck!

  10.

    9.) Fallout New Vegas.

Strange I'm talking about this when they're by Bethesda, and that I'm a fan of the Elder Scrolls games, but honestly, I don't think the RPG/freeroaming works for the Fallout games. I feel that they would be better liner as fuck, which will counter what's next on my list.

    7.) C.O.D. series/Battlefield Series

Now grant it, I've never played a Battlefield game, but to me, both series are THE GORRAM SAME! the only real difference is that Battlefield has drivable vehicles, and it's more team oriented. I'm sick and tired of people going "no! They're completely different! they have different maps so they're different!". I'll admit it, I'm interest in trying Battlefield 3, and, like I said earlier, it's more team based, which I like, so who knows what'll happen after trying Battlefield 3.

No, you havent played battlefield if you think its the same as cod. The difference is so big that I dont even compare the games. Cod is a fast paced, over the top, every man for himself, not so realistic shooter. Its an "arcade shooter". Battlefield is the exact opposite. It focuses more on teamplay, realism and tactical gameplay. I prefer battlefield, but just because of that I dont go on hating cod, I just stick to my choice and let others enjoy what they prefer. But they are two COMPLETELY different games. :)

Fallout new vegas wasnt made by bethesda, it was made by obsidian. :)

  11. I played my first FPS at the age of 9 (Day of defeat) and had only played ps2 adventure games before that so it was really mindblowing playing a shooter. I talked with people in the game (in english ofcourse) and people would ask: "how can you live in a non-english speaking country, and speaking english at that age?" my reply: "I play games in english, watch TV in english and I like speaking english." Today I realize that all my learning (except math) comes from games and movies/series. In school they still teach us what "Dog" means (Im in the ninth grade comon!) so I havent learned any english from school since the 1st grade or something. My point is: gaming has taught me a new language, and I didnt even know I was learning because I had so much fun playing. I would have failed school if it wasnt for games. You come home from a tough day at school and you start your beloved one up, and just starts playing. You just sit there and have fun, playing whatever games you prefer, and just loving it. And people say: "Gaming is bad for you!" Why? Is having fun not good? And who made you professor of video games? Mr. 65 year old dude who doesnt even know what a computer looks like? And since Ive learned so much simply by having fun, that proves the school teaching plan awfully wrong. "Everyone learns the same way" yeah, right.
