  1. What's to stop anyone from abandoning an old name and creating a new account with a new name? Not to cause confusion but... just sayin.

Well, iirc, multiple accounts is already against the rules anyway, and admins can track IPs, so there's that.

But can't someone explain away the IP by saying it's a family member or room mate?

  2. Remember when I told you guys I was writing a paper for my English class about ponies and stereotypes? After reading my first draft my professor told me I should write more about why I like the show, falling right into my trap. Let's just say that means I won't be needing to worry about minimum word count.

I just sent in the final version. I think it'll work.

Post it here pleas. I might have use of it to help explain to others that I'm not that odd for liking the show

  3. By the way, Felix, if you DARE multipost to try and get the first post on the 300th page; I swear I will go outside, find a homeless man, and pay him money to go to your house and take a dump in your sink.

Would not be the first time that happened

  4. If the names are forever and I think this forum will be around long after MLP FIM is still going or stops being good, I think my name must be one that is not tied down to ome fad or trend. So because of this I think that I will resume the name Felix but I am not happy with how thing have played out, I still and will always think there is a better solution.

  5. I think you are missing the point here. The point is that we don't want username changes at all. It is not because it is an inconvenience to admins, but rather that it only causes confusion. We've had several complaints about people not knowing who is who anymore.

Why not make it that you need to keep a name for at lest 6 months befor you can change it agen.
