I can't believe my friend will spew such impressive levels of bullshit about my other friend and expect me to side with her. I've lost all my respect for this person. Not necessarily angry, but disappointed. Severely disappointed that I misplaced my judgement in someone this badly. Shouting lies about someone and playing the victim is bad enough, but when she claimed he hit her and called the cops on him was going to far. I know this guy and violent is the last thing he is.

 

To top off the levels of disappointment, so many people are buying her side of the story. If everyone just does what I did and look at this from a neutral stand point, they'll see what I did: a woman screaming any and every excuse to make herself look better, and a man shaking his head and muttering under his breath, "I can't believe she's going this far."

This news just made me realize that I don't own any ubisoft games for the PC, and actually only own the Prince of Persia PS2 games. It's a shame this exploit was possible in the first place, however at least Ubisoft fixed it rather quickly. Other companies would take longer if they tried fixing a similar issue, assuming they'd bother trying in the first place.

Don't worry, you can see the fifth installment next month!

Well, if you wanted to be super creative, you could always take it apart and fix a CPU cooler to the GPU. I've seen it done, but that's way too much work in my opinion. Another option, which is entirely dependent on your case, is to play around with fan placement. Unfortunately, that EVGA card probably isn't cooling as efficiently as it could in a standard case (rear blowers like that work best in cases with rotated motherboard trays).

Just out of curiosity, what kind of temps were you getting before and what's your ambient temperature? It's possible that the card might be having problems that the EVGA warranty may cover.

I think it's better to let this stuff out instead of keep it inside. I used to be like you for a while, fairly vocal about things I was unhappy about, but I got discouraged about talking about it because no one listened. Shortly after, I stopped talking about my problems altogether and internalize everything, which made me a social recluse after a few months. I don't have any friends aside from people I chat with online, and I only leave the house for food and work because I have no one to do anything else with.

Usually my opinion of higher power clash harshly with others. Not because I'm an atheist (I'm not, I tried but it didn't feel like a correct mindset to me), but because what I believe isn't present in the various religious texts most western religions look to for answer.

So, I do think a god exists. But not as most people that I've met (including those here) would paint it as.
