  1. Yeah, since OSX stopped relying on the PowerPC processors, installing OSX has become so much easier for end-users, with or without the tools floating around the net (I actually installed OSX to mine before most of that stuff was released). My only complaint about it thus far is the RAM management and, in the case of non-apple computers, lacking support for Wifi cards.

I'm impressed that you got it running on an AMD chip, saja. Kudos to you (I've never tried, but I assume it's not as easy as it is with an Intel based computer).

  2. Well, that may or may not be for the best. I'm not sure how I feel about the subscription price, which is almost as expensive as the game, and will eventually cost more than the actual game. Luckily it's optional; the people I work with tried to convince me it was a fee for just the multiplayer. I was also glad to hear that prestiging (or whatever it's called in this outing) isn't as worthless as it was in the first MW.

  3. Would it be cool if we recommended some games for you to try in this thread? I'm sure you've heard, but the Jurassic Park game, made by TellTale, was recently released, and I have a feeling you'll like it since you put the BTF:TG in the #2 spot on your list.

Good list :) it might inspire me to do a PS3-exclusive top 10 list in the future...

  4. I picked RPG and Action, since they make up most of my library, then there are those psuedo-RPG/FPS hybrids (such as Bioshock) that are sprinkled throughout. I can sit down with a shooter, but chances are the experience won't be memorable, although from what I hear, Resistance 3 is a change in the status quo of mainstream console shooters.

  5. Another great review, Alyxx. I did notice you sometimes repeated phrases/words in a close vicinity ('around you', for example), but you're still fairly varied in word choice and sentence structure to make the review flow nicely.

Have you tried out COD: Elite yet? Do you think it's worth that subscription fee?
