  1. Banned because I know I didn't like the song even at 3, since my parents reminisced about how I'd throw a tantrum anytime I heard that or the authentic alphabet tune. They didn't bother singing to me before that because I was plagued with inner-ear infections for the first 2 years of my life.

  2. I was trying to say that one episode from season 1 is better than five episodes of season 2. I was afraid that this would happen as soon as I heard about season 2. It's just not the same; not bad but not the same

Of course, that's just one lil brony's opinion :) I personally think, hit for hit so far, season 2 is off to a better start than season 1 was. I think S01E05 was a big stinker and S02E05 was actually pretty decent.

It is just my opinion, which is why I'm not so sure why 'people' (Axeldeath) thought I was upset. :|

I could have done without the last 5 episodes to be honest, season 1 felt more conservative with animation and level of conflict than season 2. Episode 5 for example

The conflict and resolution seemed pretty hollow and the episode ending with what would, in real life, be a very temporary solution rather than looking at the root of the problem. Most of the episodes have either felt rushed or like white noise against the background of fundamentally identical cartoons.

Fair enough, but season 1 wasn't without it's flaws either, and had many episodes that felt rushed or unnecessary; of course, this is going to happen in any show where it's an episodic storyline. I personally like how the episodes, so far, don't try to force the cast into an episode where they really don't need to be included. Season 1 annoyed me whenever they tried this because it wasn't necessary and just took focus off the driving forces of the episode (which was usually a conflict in season 1, as well). I haven't really noticed much of a difference in animation quality/effects between the two seasons, as both have had their fair share of flashy animation here and there.

  3. You are right, I used the wrong words. Must've been because all of you called the tracks I posted unoriginal, I meant not unoriginal but tries too hard and becomes boring too fast. :)

For this one I give 6/10. this time I give 5 points for exceptional instrumental and 1 for what soudns like a devoted singer. I overtly hate to listen to such singers such as this guy but he can definetly sing. Also this sounds like some girls dreamtrack.

I'm sorry to come back I completely forgot to summarize. This is not like one of the other tracks I posted.

If you will rate this higher then the other tracks then my theory was right.

First of all, you never tell the subjects what kind of responses you want to prove or disprove a theory. That's just poor biasing. And second, there's no swear in any language on this planet that can do the headache that last track you posted induced for me. My biggest problem was the whistle element, which made this a below average song for me. Congrats, you found me another song that deserves a 2/10. If you find a 1/10, then you're in trouble ;) fair warning.

    tl;dr, 2/10

If anyone calls it unoriginal, you're in trouble as well ;) and it'll only be fun for one of us.

  5. 3/10 :D, I still think this is too unoriginal, and a sample/melody doesn't make a great track, the fact that beethoven's melody is in there doesn't mean anything and besides even the great composers had bad songs. Yet I consider beethoven to be too overrated. The composition structure overall has to do it, not just one sample/melody.

Last one from me, I expect a 2/10 and being called unoriginal :geek:

Anyway, sorry to hog this topic I needed a test on my theory.

Well, since you were constantly poking at unoriginality (originality which, I'd say, is dead these days), I figured I'd just point out that even something you composed probably wasn't original :) And he had more than just a sample/melody from the track, since it was pretty much just a remix with different instrumentals and whatnot, but oh well.

And you were off, still a 3/10, but again for unoriginality and general boredom. I only give 2's and 1's to tracks that are genuinely, ear-bleeding terrible.

This thread is quickly going to become boring and predictable if we don't loosen our standards up a little. Unless people like others telling them their tastes in music (despite how broad they are) are unoriginal and boring, of course.

Here's another attempt to mix up the posted tracks :)

  6. Sorry if I've saddened you about the "no-need for your life story" thing, Sinister. I mean no offense or aggrevation, I just need simple facts for the startup- Which I think I will now actually make for reals this time Tuesday, November the 8th unless there are objections or better suggestions.

No objection from me. In fact, with the way this thread has been going post-wise, I'd say the sooner the better.

  7. Generally I prefer rock, but I do have a soft side for good techno music now and then (then again, few people know how to use a synthesizer and impress me with what they can do).

Name me one of your favourite techno tracks.

See, that'd be kind of hard since it's actually a track from the US TV show Beast Machines, and there was never an official or unofficial OST released for that show. There was a really good synthesizer track from it, too, that I occasionally cue up a clip just to listen to it.

A techno track that usually gets me pumped for a run is the Training Facility Fight track from the Godzilla Final Wars soundtrack, though. Not my favorite, but the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

  8. 3/10, boring and unoriginal, especially considering the other tracks you've posted tonight. (and if you composed something just like it, then you probably got a lot of inspiration from Beethoven since the last track I posted was a remix of his 5th symphony).
